Department of Education REGION VIII SCHOOLS DIVISION OF LEYTE May 31, 2022 DIVISION MEMORANDUM No.2 _, s. 2022 VIRTUAL ORIENTATION ON THE BASIC EDUCATION SYSTEM (BEIS) DATA/INFORMATION REQUIREMENETS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022 To: Assistant Schools Division Superintendents Chief Education Program Supervisors Public, Private & SUC/LUC School Heads BEIS/EMIS Coordinators Others Concerned 1. __ This office, thru the School Governance and Operations Division-Planning & Research Section, announces the conduct of a virtual orientation on the Basic Education Information System (BEIS) Data/Information Requirements for school year 2021-2022 on June 3, 2022, as follows: 9:00 -12:00 Private Schools, SUC/LUCs 1:30 - 4:30 Public Elementary and Secondary Schools 2. The objectives of the activity are: a. Provide participants common understanding of the data gathering requirements, encoding and validation processes, and b. Ensure that all schools will be able to submit complete and accurate reports before the cut-off date. 3. The expected participants are School Heads, EMIS/BEIS Coordinators and other school personnel involved in the BEIS. 4. For public schools, participants are requested to gather at their respective districts observing proper health and safety protocols. 5. The activity link shall be disseminated through the BEIS/EMIS Coordinators, © as ePenses related to the activity shall be charged against local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 7.
