About the Company

We are a Fintech company – one of the largest mobile wallets and one of the largest Buy Now Pay
Later (BNPL) players in India. We are focused towards empowering 101M+ users with Financial
Independence. Founded in 2009 by Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku, we commenced
operations as a mobile wallet to make digital payments convenient for our users. Our use cases
have since expanded to include bill payments, ecommerce shopping, food delivery, petrol pumps,
large retail chains, pharmacies, kirana stores, etc. Our platform also enables peer-to-peer
payments via unified payment interface (“UPI”), MobiKwik Wallet as well as MobiKwik Wallet to
bank payments. Over the years we have amassed over 101 million Registered Users and more than
3 million ecommerce, physical retail and biller partners.

In May 2019, we launched MobiKwik Zip, our flagship BNPL product, with a focus on the Indian
middle-class population to enable them to make payments for daily life use cases. MobiKwik Zip is
focused on providing this unserved Indian population their first experience of credit. We are a
technology-first company leveraging big data analytics and deep data science (including machine
learning) to continuously delight users and merchants on our platform. Our mission is to build a
world class payments and credit product for Bharat!

About the role:

As the BNPL Product Lead, you will be primarily responsible for driving the strategy, product
roadmaps, and development for MobiKwik ZIP, our flagship product. You will be responsible for
bringing innovative solutions to life in a very competitive, fast-paced environment. You will partner
closely with Mobikwik's Payments and Merchants verticals to identify and bring market-leading
solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

- Defining the product strategy and roadmap for Lending Verticals - manage it all from strategic
planning to tactical activities. This includes our flagship BNPL product – Zip
- Building an extremely high growth rate Credit product for the next 500million + users in India
- Drive a high-quality execution in an agile manner
- Manage the entire product vertical for the BNPL business unit, drive the Product Metrics, and
Partner on the Business metrics. This includes Wealth and insurance products.
- Create readiness plans and manage the execution of operating strategies with responsible
functional partners in Risk, Compliance, Engineering, and Business. This is a highly cross-functional
role
- You will lead a team of 3-4 Product and Growth managers, investing your time in building a team
and developing talent who can deliver awesome products
- Working with sharp young PM teams, the ability to mentor them and structure things in a fast-
faced setup is a key part of this role
- You will work closely with Executive/Management teams as well. Prior exposure to this is a must
- You and your team will use customer & market research, customer feedback, customer usage, and
competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements
Core Skills:

- Overall 8+ of experience in delivering high-scale Products. A large part of this experience should be
in Fintech setups. Specific experience in building credit products is a must
- MBA is an added plus, not mandatory
- Excellent People Leadership skills are needed. You need to have a sense of urgency and a degree of
a high level of ownership. You should display a high degree of bias for action
- Excellent communication skills are required. Both sideways, upwards, and with teams
- Deep Exposure to Full lifecycle of Credit products. Specific exposure to building early BNPL
businesses is a must-have
- A good Understanding of Credit regulations/risk/compliance is a must-have
- Data-driven decision making and the ability to drive both business and product metrics are key
- Excellent Roadmap prioritization skills are required
