SKILLS PEDAGOGY (STRATEGY/ACTIVITY)

Content Standard:
Main: 4.3 Communicate with appropriate language form
and style for a range of purposes in print and digital media
Pre-lesson: Teacher writes the word ‘cyberbullying’ on the board
and asks pupils if they know what it means. Pupils can share
examples.
Lesson delivery:

1. Teacher draws a mind map on the board with 4 key points

Complementary: 2.1 Communicate simple information (meaning of cyberbullying, ways to prevent cyberbullying, internet
intelligibly safety and strategies, and what to do if you are bullied?)

Learning Standard:
Main: 4.3.3 Produce a plan or draft of one or two
paragraph for a familiar topic and modify this
appropriately in response to feedback
2. Pupils are given some time to discuss in groups and share their
answers. One representative from each group writes their answers
on the board
3. Teacher discusses the point with pupils.

4. Using the points, pupils are guided to write a few paragraphs.

Complementary: 2.1.5 Describe people, places and objects
using suitable statements
Teacher gives an example of a paragraph using any of the key
elements.
5. Pupils write their essays. Pupils share how they will use social
media safely.

OBJECTIVES TEACHING AIDS:
