ORDER:
In the references 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th to 8th read above, the Chief Engineer (P),
Ananthapuramu has requested the Government to accord administrative approval
for the work “HNSS Project- Phase-I-Lifting of water from Jeedipalli Reservoir to feed
Upper Pennar Project, proposed Somaravandlapalli & Puttakanuma Reservoirs
including CM&CD works to feed an ayacut of 25,000 acres in Anantapuramu
District” for an amount of Rs.920.00 Crores. The Expert Committee constituted by
the Government vide reference 5th read above has submitted their recommendations
on the above proposal to the Government.

2. The Government after careful examination of the proposal of Chief Engineer

(P), Ananthapuramu and also considering the recommendations of the Expert
Committee, hereby accord administrative approval for the work “HNSS Project-
Phase-I-Lifting of water from Jeedipalli Reservoir to feed Upper Pennar Project,
proposed Somaravandlapalli & Puttakanuma Reservoirs including CM&CD works to
feed an ayacut of 25,000 acres in Anantapuramu District” for an amount of
Rs.803,96,67,000/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Three Crores Ninetysix Lakhs and
Sixtyseven Thousand only).

3. The above expenditure is debitable to HOA:4700 Capital Outlay on Major

Irrigation – 01 Major Irrigation (Commercial) – MH 137 Handri Niva Sujala Sravanthi
– GH 11 State Development Schemes – SH 26 Dam and Appurtenant Works & SH 27
Canals & Distributaries – 530 Major Works/531 Other Expenditure.

4. The Chief Engineer (Projects), Ananthapuramu shall take further action

accordingly.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU.WR.II) Department

vide their UO No. 48022/364/2017-SO(FMU(WRD II), dated:24.01.2018.
