EXPERIENCE
Overall in-charge, lead trainer, facilitator and consultant for the company. Activities includes:
• Proposing, designing modules, and training executives and managers of different corporate houses, NGOs
and educational institutes of Bangladesh
• Consulting on setting up in-house training centres, training in-house trainers and developing in-house
training modules for different corporate houses and NGOs
• Consulting on setting up the brand guideline and short term/long term brand strategies for different
corporate houses
• Head-hunting to place the best talents for different corporate houses and NGOs
• Creating post training analysing and reporting for different clients
Part of the Philip Morris sales team of Bangladesh and moved cross-functionally from the marketing team to
be in-charge of all “investment outlets” of Marlboro cigarettes in this country. Marlboro is the number one
selling cigarette in the world, and is the 8th largest global brand out of all categories. Activities include:
• Propose, develop and execute Key Accounts and Modern Trade, including Philip Morris visibility invested
outlets (Image Outlets) and HoReCas (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes) plans to maximize the return of
investment and consumer interactions/engagements
• Organize and supervise trade and consumer engagement activities to achieve volume and market share
growth through the Key Account, modern trade and HoReCa customers
• In-charge of Key Accounts and HoReCa yearly budget, and ensure efficiency in the budget spending
• Ensure 100% accuracy of work and reporting through Internal Controls, Audit and Compliance checks for
the department
• Reporting and presentation to local and regional management
• Promoted as the Manager for Consumer Engagement and overall in charge of strategic planning and
implementation of all below-the-line activities of Marlboro in Bangladesh. Events include own PMI events as
well as different sponsorships. Activation includes retail brand promoter activation, activation conducted in
modern trade and diversified channels (restaurants or lounges), activation and engagement in different own
or sponsorship events.
In-charge of all retail consumer engagement and indoor event activities of Marlboro cigarettes in Bangladesh.
Activities include:
• Strategic planning, recruiting, training, implementation and monitoring of 400+ Brand Communication
Teams in Bangladesh
• In charge of planning and implementation of all PMI indoor events – Velocity, the Red Adda, Red Hot Dance,
Red Hot Rockz and so on.
Key Achievements:
• Increasing sales volume from 2 million cigarettes / month to 10 million cigarettes / month by leading a team
of 500 brand promoters, and in the process capturing 40% market share of premium Lights segment cigarette
from B&H Lights (Oct 2011- Jan 2012).
• Received the PMI ABCD Award 2010 (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty, the 3rd highest ranking global
award of PMI), for quality execution of retail brand promoter activities
• Launched the biggest ever international DJ party of Bangladesh, Velocity 4 – Formula 1 (F1) themed party,
with around 2000 invited guests –Hotel Sheraton, October 2010
EWU and ULAB are two of the top 7 ranking private universities of Bangladesh
⬧ Proposed, designed and currently teaching the EWU Career Book Program and the ULAB Career Vision
Workshop. These workshops provide thorough knowledge, and access to information to the students about
the corporate world.
⬧ Regular speaker in different Career related workshops and trainings, including Bdjobs and Prothom Alo
Jobs, and few other leading training centers of Bangladesh. Has spoken in at least 30 different universities
and colleges, and in front of over 6000 people so far (as of Aug 2014). Please view

Major Achievement:
⬧ Developed and implemented the 1st time ever in Bangladesh, the Inter-district Education Fair, attracting
over 24,000 students in six significant districts of the country. Developed the overall strategy, found
sponsors, media partners and sold over 100 stalls to different participating educational businesses.
