Part of the Philip Morris sales team of Bangladesh and moved cross-functionally from the marketing team to
be in-charge of all “investment outlets” of Marlboro cigarettes in this country. Marlboro is the number one
selling cigarette in the world, and is the 8th largest global brand out of all categories. Activities include:
• Propose, develop and execute Key Accounts and Modern Trade, including Philip Morris visibility invested
outlets (Image Outlets) and HoReCas (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes) plans to maximize the return of
investment and consumer interactions/engagements
• Organize and supervise trade and consumer engagement activities to achieve volume and market share
growth through the Key Account, modern trade and HoReCa customers
• In-charge of Key Accounts and HoReCa yearly budget, and ensure efficiency in the budget spending
• Ensure 100% accuracy of work and reporting through Internal Controls, Audit and Compliance checks for
the department

Consumer Engagement Specialist, Bangladesh

In-charge of all retail consumer engagement and indoor event activities of Marlboro cigarettes in Bangladesh.
Activities include:
• Strategic planning, recruiting, training, implementation and monitoring of 400+ Brand Communication
Teams in Bangladesh
• In charge of planning and implementation of all PMI indoor events – Velocity, the Red Adda, Red Hot Dance,
Red Hot Rockz and so on.

Key Achievements:
• Increasing sales volume from 2 million cigarettes / month to 10 million cigarettes / month by leading a team
of 500 brand promoters, and in the process capturing 40% market share of premium Lights segment cigarette
from B&H Lights (Oct 2011- Jan 2012).
• Received the PMI ABCD Award 2010 (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty, the 3rd highest ranking global
award of PMI), for quality execution of retail brand promoter activities
• Launched the biggest ever international DJ party of Bangladesh, Velocity 4 – Formula 1 (F1) themed party,
with around 2000 invited guests –Hotel Sheraton, October 2010
