THINGS TO DO WHEN THE DISPLAY TURNS ON AND OFF SPONTANEOUSLY

Do not operate the machine if any guards or covers are missing or inadequately secured. Personnel could

Complaints such as turning off and on automatically on the display of H4 excavators can be reported.
Used flash memories can cause problems such as the screen turning itself off and on after a while.
Flash drives used in such cases should be removed from the USB port, if the screen software is not
up to date, it should be updated and the problem should be followed.

Following steps can be applied;

1. Click to the “firmware & software” section under the After Sales Docs.

2. Click to the “firmware” section.

3. Click to the “HEX” section.

4. Click to the “Display” section.

5. Click to the “Display for H4 series machine” section.

6. Download the latest version of the firmware by clicking on it.

After downloading the display software, the following points should be considered before
updating.

1. The file system of the flash memory has to be “FAT32”.

2. Display firmware downloaded from CRM should be copied into a folder named “Firmware”
in the flash memory.

NOTE: You can order flash memory with part number HMK52003000 from the spare parts
department.

Display updating steps are as below;

1. Flash memory including the firmware is inserted when the ignition key is at OFF position.

2. Turn the ignition key to ON position.

3. Put your four fingers on the display as below

4. The update screen will appear automatically and the update process will begin. After
that, the update process will be completed automatically.
