REVISED PET POLICY

Based on the feedback shared by many residents and observations during daily rounds,
it has been observed that guidelines issued for pet handlers / owners are not being
adhered to appropriately. This has become a cause of concern for fellow residents.
Therefore, pet owners are requested to educate their pet walkers and handlers to follow
these rules.

Guidelines for Pet Owners.

1. Keeping Pet Healthy and Clean

Please ensure that your pets are healthy and clean at all times. The pets need
to be vaccinated as per the vaccination schedule advised by veterinary doctor.

2. Register the Pets with Condominium Office

The registration form is appended at the end of this policy for submitting details.
As a policy, all residents need to register their pets with the facility management
(help desk) so we have a record of all pets in the Condominium and their
vaccination status.

3. Always Leash Your Pet

Leashing of pets in public places / common areas is advisable. This assures
other residents and passers by that they are safe and makes them more
comfortable when walking in the vicinity of an owner with his / her pet.

4. Pets to be Handled by Experienced Pet Walker

In case, you cannot walk your dog, please ensure that a person who is familiar
with your dog and can handle your dog is walking it instead. It is the
responsibility and accountability of the dog owner to ensure that their dog does
not harm or bother anyone.

5. Be aware of other People’s Space

Keep your leashed pet close to you and stay alert to people passing by. This is
especially important for pet walkers who use extendable leashes. You should
ensure that the leash is in your control and you can prevent your pet from
contacting or jumping on other pets or people around or even colliding with a
passing vehicle.

6. Respect Other Peoples’ Space.

Do not allow pets to mingle unless they know each other: while your pets also
need to socialize with their friends, we should ensure that their interactions are
well managed. This should also be refrained to make sure that, in case other
pet is carrying any infection it may not be passed on to your pet.
7. Compensation
The responsibility of any harm caused by pet to any person or common area is to
be taken by the pet owner and owner is expected to compensate for any damages
caused by the pet.

8. Scoop up your Pet’s Poop

It has been observed that the residents (pet owners) are very particular and have
no inhibitions in clearing up after their pet. However, the dog walkers / domestic
help refrain from doing so therefore they are required to carry a poop scooper and
bag to ensure that no common area is littered incase the pet relieves itself in the
common area. All the security guards at the service side will check the dog walkers
for the same and anybody not carrying one will be asked to go back to the
apartment.

9. Muzzling of the Pet

The owner is the best judge of their pet's temperament. irrespective of the size of
the pet, if the owner feels that the pet needs a muzzle, it should be put. Any
untoward incident and fall out of the same will be responsibility of the owner.
Aralias Condominium Association will have no responsibility.
10. Feeding the Stray Dogs
Feeding of stray dogs inside The Aralias condominium is strictly prohibited.

11. Poop Bag Dispensers

A poop bag dispenser will be kept at Gate 1 and 3 each incase resident forgets to
carry the same.

12. Revision of Fines and Penalties

The unpaid penalty would be added along with the bill of Common Area
Maintenance under ‘Miscellaneous’ and late payment fee shall also be applicable.
*NOTE: IN CASE OF ANY ACCIDENT WHEREIN A PET BITES ANOTHER RESIDENT
PET OR ANY OTHER PERSON INSIDE THE CONDOMINIUM PREMISES OR ANY
