HOW TO

CRACK
INTERVIEW
AT ICAI CAMPUS
Interview preparation takes a lot more than
Googling a list of common interview questions.
It's not only about preparing a good resume.

You need to prepare for all aspects to ace the

interview.

During your interview, you need to convey why

you are a perfect fit for a job.

Here're some crucial aspects of interview

preparation...
RESEARCH

Research the company, its vision, mission, clients,

projects, work culture, leadership, job role,
financials, etc.

Research the interviewers on LinkedIn and find

something exciting about interviewers and use
them in your interview.

Also, research and learn some industry jargon if

possible. This will reflect that you are already well
into the job.
SET UP YOUR THINGS
A DAY BEFORE
Set up your things for the interview a day before to
avoid any last-minute hassle.

Prepare your bag, clothes, etc. Install the relevant

apps and test the whole setup, including internet
connection and the relevant apps (Zoom, Teams,
etc.) for interview.
FOLLOW BASIC
PROFESSIONALISM
Get proper sleep before the Interview day. You do
not want to be sleep-deprived and yawn before
the interviewer.

Arrive early at the interview location, even for an

online meeting.

Greet everyone in the room personally. Greetings in

the end - e.g., “Thank you for your time, sir, it was
nice talking to you.”
PREPARE RELIGIOUSLY

Religiously prepare your notes for commonly asked

questions.

Everyone is unique. Your interview will be successful when

you convince the interviewer that you are suitable for the
job. Prepare your storyline. Good stories sell.

Prepare for your technical round specific to your job role.

PRACTICE. PRACTICE.
PRACTICE.
Practice communication and delivering the
commonly asked questions by reciting the
answers by looking in the mirror. Record it and re-
hear it.

Preparation work will help you clarify your thoughts

and make you much more comfortable during the
interview.
