Question 1

--- whether technology drive family members apart or bring them closer?

YES, IT DRIVES FAMILY MEMBERS APART… because…

1. Spending too much of our time with Technology from watching tv to chatting online is
decreasing our family time…
- We sometimes forget that we have our family at home, not on the scrren that needs our
attention.. we are so busy to play video games, streaming online with our virtual friends yet
we forget that we have our siblings at home that also want to play together with us…
2. Technology destroys relationship
- parents are not able to interact with their children face to face, so they decide to
follow them on their social media. However, sometimes children are not comfortable
by the fact that their parents follow them on instagram/facebook… by doing so, they
feel that they are being restricted by the parents and thus, they hate any type of
‘interference’ from their parents in their normal and social lives.
3. Technology can cause addictive-like behaviour…
- most children when they were given the mobile phones/tablets since their young age will
find it difficult to leave the gadgets even during social occasions like having dinner together
with the family… I’ve seen some babies or young kids will be crying when their mother took
the gadgets from them… this will cause them to not having enough face-to-face interaction
within the family members..

Question 2

--- Whether eating generous amount of fruits and vegetables is more beneficial for us than consuming
supplements such as vitamins and others in order to take care of our health…

EATING GENEROUS AMOUNT OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES IS BETTER… like the saying goes, an apple a
day keeps the doctor away… of course fruits and vegetables are healthier than supplements…

1. Fruits and vegetables has the NATURAL VITAMINS in it which are not processed like the
vitamins in the supplements…
- It is said that food that have been going through so many processes to extract the good
nutrients in them such as vitamins are more likely to lose its nutrients even before the
vitamins are packed inside the bottles… Excessive heats being expossed to the food are one
of the factors for it to lose its nutrients.
2. Fuits and vegetables are also cheaper than supplements…
- Supplements can cost us until hundreds ringgit meanwhile an orange or an apple only costs
us 2 ringgit if we buy it from the marketa and even better, it can cost us nothing if we can
plant them in our backyard…
3. Fruits and vegetables are more delicious than supplements…
- supplements taste like medicines and they are mostly bitter in taste… unlike fruits, it has
natural sweets in it.. fruits that taste sweet are such bananas, watermelon, mangoes and
papayas… these fruits are very rich in vitamins A, C, K and many more.
Question 3

--- The impacts of using social media apps such as Tiktok, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook in our life…

1. Provides positive learning opportunities…

- Some teacher using these platforms to conduct online learning.. like my teacher, she really
likes to use youtube which is also another examples of social media to conduct her lesson
duirng the pandemic… youtube videos a llow students like us to physically see what is
being taught and help us to understand the lesson better.
2. Communicate with friends from other countries…
- Some of our friends might already move to another school in another country.. thus, using
social media, we can still get to talk and chat with them everyday without travelling to their
plave which is probably difficult and cost us a lot of money…
3. Can get updates from all over the world…
- By having social media, we get to know the latest issues in this world… we can always get
updates on the current Russian-Ukraine conflict for example… we can also get to know the
conditions of people in Palastine currently and…. Most interesting, we can also get the
updates from the Star of pirates of caribbean, Johhny Depp and his ex wive, Amber Heard
trial Case…

YES, IT CAN ALIENATE FAMILY RELATIONSHIP….

Question 5

--- Whether reading material in print is more relevant than digital based or what we called reading on
screen…

IN MY OPINION… READING ON SCREEN IS MORE RELEVANT THAN READING IN PRINT…

1. One of the great features is zoom in and zoom out.

- Unlike reading books, we can always zoom in and zoom out when we are reading on
screen… it is great for the elderly who cannot see the fonts and letters properly… ever
worse, spending too long hours on reading the small fonts and letters can cause their eyes
to hurt and teary… ☹
2. Everything is just at the tip of our fingers…
- we can easily type on any titles/genres of books that we would like to read… just open the
google chrome and type… unlike books, we have to go through the whole library in order for
us to find the books that are favourable for us to read… some libraries have already
provided ONLINE LIBRARY which allow us to sort out our favourite books online…
3. Reading materials in digital based are also easy to bring or carry around…
- The kindle device for example is very lightweight and thus, we have no problems to carry it
around.. just put it in our bag and from there we can have thousands of books to read…
