- Ensure that the cradle wire ropes of the cradle have no slacks and a little bit
under tension whilst landed to the ground floor to kept the slack rope safety
devices of the hoists from engaging to the wire ropes. This will make the de-
reeving process easier and faster.
- The de-reeving of wire ropes will start from the safety wire rope. It is the wire
rope that doesn’t pass the slack rope lever as shown.

- Inside of the cradle, pull the safety wire from the wire winder drum and then pull it
from the top of the traction hoist until the wire winder drum comes to empty. If the
cradle is not attached to any carrying unit and its wire ropes are slacked, the
slack rope lever must be pushed to keep it in its upright position to keep the slack
rope safety device from engaging to the safety wire rope.

Disconnect the wire rope from the wire winder drum and continue pulling it until
the remaining wire is removed from the hoist. Repeat the steps to the safety wire
rope of the other hoist.
- After the safe ropes are de-reveed, turn the cradle power ON then press the by-
pass button while turning the down switch to automatically de-reeve the
suspension wire ropes from the traction hoists.

- Continue actuating the down switch until the two wire winder drums come to
empty. Disconnect the suspension wire ropes from the wire winder drums then
continue the de-reeving until the remaining wire ropes exit the hoists.
