PROJECTILE MOTION

ABSTRACT

When a particle is hurled obliquely near the earth's

surface, it goes along a curved route with constant
acceleration headed towards the earth's center, and we
suppose it stays close to the surface. A projectile's path
is called a projectile's path, and its motion is called
projectile motion. The goal of this experiment was to
determine the projectile's height, flight duration, and range.
Our group used an online simulation site and the designated
formulas to define the three.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION Based on the data, we discovered that the

greater the distance traveled in flight, the
INITIAL greater the level of discharge. This is
MASS ANGLE DIAMETER ELEVATION because the higher the projectile is shot, the
VELOCITY
longer it will stay in the air. On the missile,
the horizontal component will have a longer
effect. As the angle increases, the
20 m/s 5 kg 20 deg 0.35 m 10 m component of force parallel to the incline
increases and the component of force
perpendicular to the incline decreases.
Higher launch angles have greater times in
TIME OF FLIGHT RANGE HEIGHT the air. A larger diameter equals more
surface area and higher air resistance,
which causes projectiles to fall quicker
2.228 sec 42.9 m 12.39 m since air resistance pushes objects down as
they rise.

CONCLUSION
The experimental goal was met with valid and consistent
data that effectively proved the underlying physics for
horizontal projectile motion. The mechanics of the
trajectory indicated that this experiment effectively
achieved practical projectile motion processing. Ultimately,
whilst the experiment was considered useful. A projectile
