Problem Statement

The total of arrival & receipts to Malaysia have improved


from year to year especially to tourism based locations.
However, the arrival of tourists to Malaysia have been
static from 2016 to 2017 and short back from attaining
more market demand for tourism in Malaysia. To boost
the number of tourist visiting Langkawi, Langkawi Smart
Tourism drives the use of technology in boosting a better
tourism experience for tourists in Langkawi.

 46.2% Tourists came to Malaysia by gathering information


from the internet.
 More than 50% people from western countries reserve
their travels online
 65% of tourists goes online without any idea where they
are going.
 88% of travelers use applications on their smartphones to
have information on places.
