5 habits of the prophet muhammad saw that are

scientifically healthy practices

INTRODUCTION

Prophet Muhammad SAW is the Messenger of Allah. He was born at Mecca and he was declared as
the last Prophet when he was 40 years old. He was the best example for human beings on how to
live and lead our lives. He led a modest life even though he was the most beloved Messenger of
Allah. Believers in Islam must take care of their spiritual, emotional and physical health. As Muslims,
we are advised to follow the best example which is Prophet Muhammad SAW, for his daily habits
that not only had spiritual benefits, but also physical and physiological benefits as well. As his habits
of living only bring advantages to one’s life, therefore, he has showed to us on how a Muslim should
live during his lifetime. Habit is defined as an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it
has become almost involuntary. There are 9 habits of Prophet Muhammad SAW that science later
proved that they were good to practice. The 9 habits of Prophet Muhammad SAW are

early riser,

eating less and mindful eating,

the way of drinking water,

fasting

and staying active.
