VIRTUAL INSET 2021 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

The following are the accomplishments during the 1 week In Service Training held on March 15-
19, 2021:
Day 1
1. Discussion of DepEd TV Report by Salvador Manansala I;
2. DepEd LMS Report by Mark Anthony Papa discussed how to create, login and use
accounts to LMS website (http://r5-2.lms.deped.gov.ph/) for region V;
3. DepEd Commons Report by Aprellene B. Marquez discussed how to use and access to
the educational materials at common.deped.gov.ph website;
4. DepEd OERs by Sherwin G. Lomeda discussed about Open Educational Resources (OER)
offline educational application used for teaching;
5. Google Certificates by Rowena A. Reyes give the information about teachers who are
passer of google examination;
6. Microsoft Education and Deped ETULay by Mark Anthony Jamisal discussed about
Microsoft Education Partnership, platform of Microsoft Education and Office 365 issues.
ETULay Deoed EdTech Unit Online Tutors free online tutor platform;
7. ETU Future Programs by Mark Anthony C. Sy about future plan to the ETU Programs
using Educational technology for the welfare of the teachers and the learners;
8. Effective Delivery of Synchronous/ Asynchronous Teaching by Mark Anthony C. Sy
discussed real time teaching like video conference and other is flexible time experience
of learning like educational video recorded.
Day 2
9. Deped Account Activation and issues discussed by Mark Anthony Papa
10. Effective Utilization of Multimedia Materials: DepEd TV by Joy G. Salazar discussed
different kind of educational multimedia materials like DepedTV Channel and youtube;
11. Video editing techniques in producing quality video lesson by Neil Arvin Bautista
discussed on how to use video editing using filmora application;
12. A New Normal: The Critical Role of Assessment in Online Learning by Salvador
Manansala I discussed about Principles of effective assessment and assessment
methods;
13. OER Readiness Review Criteria by Minerva Grace O. Silvestre discussed different criteria
for using Open Educational Resources (OER)
Day 3
14. Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals by Rowena A. Reyes discussed the
different platform for teaching using google workspace;
15. Poster Design in Adobe Photoshop by Glenn Huraño discussed about using different
tools on adobe photoshop application;
16. Overview of R.A. 10173, The Data Privacy act of 2012 by Glenah A. Taguibao discussed
about protecting yourself to hackers or criminals on the internet by keeping private your
personal information;
17. Solving People Puzzle by Sherwin G. Lomeda discussed about different personality
styles, strength and weaknesses.
Day 4
18. Interactive Instructional Materials by Ariel A. Delos Santos discussed about different
tools / applications uses for interactive instructional materials (online and offline);
19. Manychat: Delivering Online-Offline learning (McDoo) by Earl Aaron O. Villanoza
discussed creating an account and using Manychat (automative chat reply);
20. ETUlay-Breakthrough in Teaching by Mark Anthony Jasmisal and Mobile Apps in
Education by Sara Jane C. Sarino discussed about different educational application and
how mobile application can be use in teaching.
Day 5
21. Digital Poetry: A collaborative Performance Project by Aprellene B. Marquez discussed
significance of poetry and discussed how to use Google Docs for the activy;
22. Technology Integration and Instructional Materials Development / Preparation in
English Language by Maria May Sevilla discussed Integrating online / offline tools using
in teaching.
23. Hour of Code (Programming for Women) by Rubilyn Pastrano discussed about leaning in
simple programming.
24. Creating Interactive Materials Using Scratch Animation by Glenny Laping discussed
about the scratch application (simple coding application), creating an account,
downloading and using of this application.
Every after the session or the topic participants should answer the given quiz on the www.r5-
2.lms.deped.gov.ph and they need to have perfect score to be able to get the Certificate on
that specific topic. And accomplished all the quiz to get the certificate of recognition.
