1. From your experiences within your family, cite a significant event when you experienced feeling deeply loved and
appreciated.

One of the significant event in my life where I really felt loved and appreciated by my family was when I
successfully completed my Junior High School. I knew from the beaming faces of my family, most especially my
parents that I was able to make them proud, and for me nothing is more precious than being able to bring a sense of
pride and happiness to my family because the family after all is not just any important thing, it is everything.

2. You have been invited to a party. You want to attend but your parents did not permit you. What would you do?

I have high respect for my parents and the wisdom that comes with their every decision and advice, so I will obey
them and I won’t insist attending the party. I could not impose upon myself to enjoy a party yet offend my parents
whom I owe everything that I am and everything I will become.

3. How can you demonstrate the value of love and promote peace in your family?

By simply being the best daughter, sister or granddaughter, I believe I am already able to demonstrate my
unconditional love for my family and by being by obedient and respectful to each of our differences and lapses in the
family I am also able to promote peace and harmony which I believe are essentials of a happy family.

4. How do you give thanks each day to our loving God who have created all this beauty and bounty around you?
I would never forget that a teacher once told me that prayer is the best form of communication to God so every
waking day of my life I try my best to utter even a simple prayer to Him, to tell Him how thankful I am for all His
blessings.

5. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to China. It might not be a popular choice among many but I would
want to go there to observe the culture of the Chinese and admire their country. I want to understand them better
especially because I have observed that we seem to be in conflict with them in several state concerns especially our
respective territories. I believe in the power of goodwill and mutual respect it can vanish any shade of conflict and
help promote peace.

6. If you win the crown tonight, what will be your first action when you arrive at school on Monday?

If God wills it that I will be crowned tonight then when I arrive in school on Monday, I would show gratitude to
everyone by thanking them because I know that if a queen is crowned it is not only because of her own effort but the
effort and sacrifices of many. As they say, it takes a village to raise a queen so I my first action would be to say thank
you.

7. What do you think should we be teaching the next generation about protecting our planet?

We should teach the next generation that it is our collective and individual responsibility to preserve and tend to the
world in which we all live in. Instead of pointing fingers as to who should be blamed or who should take action to
prevent further damage of our planet we should commit individually and collectively to make the planet a beautiful
home for us and the future generations.
8. What for you is an ideal loving family relationship?

An ideal loving family relationship is one centered on Christ. A family which puts Christ in their midst and prays to
Him in times of challenges and praises Him for all successes or blessings is for sure a happy family because as we
all know “A family that prays together, stays together.”

9. Are you a loving daughter? What makes you say so?

I humbly think that I am a loving daughter because apart from being obedient to my parents, I also strive to always be
in my best to make my parents proud and happy of me. I make sure that everything I would do will make my parents
proudly say, “That is our daughter, we are proud of her!”

10. How has the role of women changed since the turn of the century?

Since the turn of the century, women’s role significantly changed. Women rose to power and she presented herself as
man’s equal. She refused to just follow rules set for her or be ordered around. Women became empowered.

11. What has not happened in your life that you wish could happen?

One thing that has not yet happened in my life wish I earnestly wish could happen with God’s blessing is being
crowned as Ms. TWCHS 2019. I think that if it were to happen I would certainly make my family, adviser, section
and school proud of me all at the same time and that would be such joy to my heart.

12. How do you see yourself ten years from now?

Ten years from now, I see myself as an empowered woman, a young professional and a provider for our family. I
picture myself as someone who is already very happy and content in living the dream that she worked hard to
achieve.

13. If you win this pageant, how will you use your title so that others can benefit from it?

If I win in this pageant, I will serve as an ambassadress of goodwill for the school. I will promote how I was trained
and molded well by my school in spite of it being a public high school that way I can enlighten others who are
doubting about our school and they too will be encouraged to take benefit of a free education which is at par with
other schools.

14. Describe to us your dream vacation?

My dream vacation is in the captivating Island of Palawan together with my entire family. I want to have quality time
with my family while being in that piece of paradise admiring the beauty of God’s masterpiece. I want to have a
vacation there in that place wherein at the end of the day I can say “Life is amazing and I am blessed!”

15. If women were to rule by year 2050, how different would the world be?

If women were to rule by year 2050, I think the world will be more beautiful in a sense that women have a keen eye
for beauty. The world would also be a more nurturing place to live because it is the innate nature of a woman to care
and love selflessly.

16. What philosophy or value do you hold dearest in life?

The philosophy I hold dearest in life is simply phrased as “I can and I will”. This is my constant reminder to myself
every time I feel discouraged, weak and helpless. I say “I can” because I am determined to achieve it and I say “I
will” because every time I fail, I don’t just stop and surrender instead I inspire myself that someday with God’s help I
will be able to achieve what I want.

17. What can you say to your fellow youth who are involved in using illegal drugs?

The school and the community have not failed in informing us about the negative effects of illegal drugs so I would
tell a fellow youth involved in using illegal drugs that he/she is bound to destruction and failure and that it is never
too late to turn back and change for the better.

18. If you are going to raise one question in a pageant, what would it be and why?
The question I would raise in a pageant is this “If ever you will be crowned, what legacy would you like to leave
behind after your reign would be over?” I would ask that question not only to know the plans of a queen but also to
determine the purpose of the queen because I believe that each crown has its purpose.
