Plant/Apparatus:
50LCB11AP001 CONDENSATE EXTRACTION PUMP 1 UNIT 50

Task:
Internal inspection

Status:
There is abnormal noise inside pump casing unit still on load

Particular Aspects:
 Agreement from Control Person to release the plant/apparatus
 Basic safety rule A3.2 when internal access required shall purged if residue content could cause
danger.
 Danger : 1. asphyxiation from residue of chemical
2. falling.
3. noise ( when unit on load ).

Interface with others people:

 SAP will prepare the safety document
 Authorised Person will apply safety precautions
 Competent Person will receipt safety document and do internal inspection

Considerations in the application of safety precautions:

 SAP prepare safety precaution sheet (all isolation points are identified) and give instruction
to AP to do isolation.
 AP will apply safety precautions as SAP instruction to achieve safety from the system
 AP will check the adequacy and integrity of the isolation and then confirm by sign
 CP do internal inspection
 NS establish general safety and CP during work commences

Safety Document to be used:

1. PFW preparation work : install scafolding and lighting
2. PFW split motor and pump
3. PFW internal inspection
4. PFW remove scafolding and lighting
5. PFW coupling motor and pump
