Information regarding the 3rd call for applications for participation in the PROM Project

International Cooperation Centre of the Lodz University of Technology announces additional

call for applications for participation in the PROM Project - “International scholarship exchange
of PhD candidates and academic staff”.

The Project is implemented by TUL under the agreement with the Polish National Agency of
Academic Exchange and financed by the EU from the European Social Fund, Operational
Programme Knowledge Education Development.

The aim of the project is to increase international exchange of PhD candidates at TUL, improve
quality and level of internationalization of third degree education and strengthen cooperation
with foreign universities.

Within the 3rd call for applications, the Project offers 11 PhD students of foreign institutions a
possibility to conduct a short-term scientific visits at Lodz University of Technology.

The objectives of the mobility should be closely related to the subject matter of the PhD thesis
being carried out by the Candidate. The mobility should be conducted before March 31st 2023
and can last from 5 to 30 days.

The project provides funds to each Participant for the following costs:
• flat-rate maintenance costs (from 4000 to 12000 PLN) depending on the number of days of
stay abroad, including 2 days of travel, and
• flat-rate travel costs, i.e. travel, insurance and a visa, (from 1000 to 5000 PLN) depending
on the distance (in km) in a straight line between the Participant's place of residence and
the city of Lodz.

The application process is carried out accordingly to the on-going procedure, until the pool of
available funds is exhausted.
