CHAPTER-1: - INTRODUCTION
Product
Product refers to an item or items the business plans to offer to customers. The
product should seek to fulfill an absence in the market, or fulfill consumer
demand for a greater amount of a product already available. Before they can
prepare an appropriate campaign, marketers need to understand what product is
being sold, how it stands out from its competitors, whether the product can also
be paired with a secondary product or product line, and whether there are
substitute products in the market.
Price
Price refers to how much the company will sell the product for. When
establishing a price, companies must consider the unit cost price, marketing
costs, and distribution expenses. Companies must also consider the price of
competing products in the marketplace and whether their proposed price point is
sufficient to represent a reasonable alternative for consumers.

Promotion
Print Advertising
Advantages:
* Often an advantage of marketing via print media is the flexibility. The size,
placement and type of advert can be adopted and changed according to your
needs.
* Another advantage marketing this way is the repeated display of your advert
over time. Multiple appearances in various issues of the paper or magazine will
improve chances of your brand sticking with the customers and also the results
you will see in terms of sales leads.
Disadvantages:
* Cost can be prohibitive. The bigger the advert the more the cost. Magazines
and newspapers with a wider audience generally cost more to advertise in and
marketing over time in this manner may be too expensive for some businesses.
* Magazines are often released on a monthly basis, meaning it can take longer
for your advert to take hold in a potential customers mind.
* There are many radio and television stations out there. You can appeal to your
local audience by using a local radio or television station. You may also run an
advert on a specific station with a genre which would suit your business. The
variety of radio and television stations makes it easy to appeal to a specific
audience.
* Your advert may well be repeated throughout the day at specific times, which
would allow you to reach the best audience for your marketing.
* Radio and television marketing allows for regular repetition of your advert,
helping satisfy the law of 29.
Disadvantages:
* Unless you are targeting a specific audience, you might have to push your
advert across a number of radio and television stations to reach everyone you
need to.
* Listeners/viewers may stop paying attention during advert breaks, which are
essentially a disturbance to their enjoyment of the show.
Your chosen market might benefit from a direct marketing campaign. Send your
adverts, catalogues or product samples straight through your customer’s
letterbox. You could target the right audience by using the electoral register to
find the right age, sex and demographic or acquire access to marketing mailing
lists.
Advantages:
* Direct mail marketing will allow you to target to your specific customer.
Personalising your message to have the best possible impact on them.
* Unlike other forms of advertising, your marketing will not need to stand out
on a page full of other adverts. It will just need to stand out from the pile on the
doormat. A brightly coloured, appealing envelope may be all it takes.
* This type of marketing allows you target a specific area or locality. Especially
important if your business is local.
Disadvantages:
* Direct mail is often seen as “junk” mail. So if your marketing doesn’t stand
out and appeal in just the right way it might find its way straight from the
letterbox to the bin.
* The law of 29 means you will need to do a direct mailing campaign many
times before it has an effect.
* You risk annoying your customers by plaguing them with regular “junk” mail
campaigns.
Telemarketing
Advantages:
* Personal contact with the customer is more effective than something abstract
designed to appeal to a multitude of people. It makes the customer feel more
important if you can make them think you are only there to help them with their
needs.
* Results are easy to measure and often a potential customer can be easily led to
a sale over the phone. In other words the call to action will be more effective.
Disadvantages:
* Cold-calling, like junk mail, can have an unwanted effect as it has negative
connotations. Unwanted calls are often dealt with harshly and you might risk
damaging your reputation.
An Introduction
The first huts and shelters were constructed using hands or with simple tools. As
cities grew during the Bronze Age, a class of professional craftsmen, like
bricklayers and carpenters, started to appear. Later on slaves were used for
construction work. In the Middle Ages, the artisan craftsmen were sorted into
societies. In the nineteenth century, steam-powered machinery appeared, and,
later, diesel- and electric-powered vehicles such as cranes, excavators and
bulldozers.
Coming to India, the increasing demand and growth of the construction industry
has followed a similar pattern as observed in the trend of the world. Currently,
construction is one of the sectors leading the way towards modernization and
industrialization in India. The construction sector in India, generally in the
world, contributes to the realization of about fifty percent of the total capital.
It’s also an opportunity for technology, innovation and overall development.
Fast-track construction has been increasingly popular in the twenty first century.
Some estimates suggest that forty percent of construction projects are now fast-
track construction.
History
The period from 1970 to mid-1960’s government played an active role in the
development of services and most of construction activities during this period
were carried out by government-owned corporations and supported by
government departments. In the first 5- year plan, construction of civil works
was allotted nearly half of the total capital outlay. The 1st professional
consultancy company, National Industrial Development Corporation (NIDC),
was started in the public sector in 1954. Eventually , many other architectural,
design engineering and construction companies were also started in the public
sector (National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), Engineers India
Limited (EIL), Rail India Transportation and Engineering Services (RITES),
Indian Railways Construction Limited (IRCON), etc.) and also in private sector
(Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), M N Dastur and Co., Ansals, etc.).
In India Construction has accounted for around 40% of the development
investment during the past 50 years. Around 16% of the country's working
population is dependent upon construction for its livelihood. Construction
industry in India employs more than 30 million people and creates assets worth
over ₹ 200 billion.
It contributes more than 5%to country's GDP and 78%to the gross capital
formation.
There are three segments in the construction industry mainly, like infrastructure
building which includes roads, railways, power etc.; real estate construction
which includes residential and commercial construction; and third one is
industrial construction that consists of gas and oil refineries, pipelines, textiles
etc.
The construction industry in India is highly diverged. There are many number of
unorganized players in the industry who work on the sub-contracting basis. To
execute more critical projects, nowadays auctions are increasingly placed in
consortium. But the profitability of the construction projects varies across
different segments and sectors. Complex technology savvy projects can get
higher profit margins for construction companies, whereas compared to low
technology projects like road construction. Various projects in Construction
industrial working capital intensive. Working capital requirement for any
company depends on the order mix of their companies.
Despite the way that at the lower end, Indian industry has built up a toll
grandstand. It builds up not actually a major part of a percent of the overall
market, in volume. As Indian passages are ascending at an animating
advancement consistently, this reality could change.

CHAPTER-4:- McKINSEY 7S MODEL
McKinsey 7’s:-
McKinsey’s 7S FRAME WORK MODEL The 7s model is better known as
McKinsey’s 7s. This is because the two persons who developed this model. It is
developed by Tom Peters and Robert
Waterman. They published their 7s model in their article “structure is not
organization” (1980) and in their books “the art of Japanese management”
(1981) and in search of excellence (1982).
The 7s model is a tool for managerial analysis and action that provides a
structure with which to consider a company as whole. So that the organization
problems may be diagnosed and a strategy may be developed and implemented.
• Strategy structure
• System
• Style
• Staff
• Skill
• Shared values
STAFF:
The employees are the true assets of an organization. They are the ones who
contribute effectively towards the successful functioning of an organization.
They strive hard to deliver their level best and achieve the assigned targets
within the stipulated time frame. Employees are the base of a strong and long-
running organization. Employees run the organization, no matter what level.
This means their strength, commitment and dedication, and their emotional
connection with the organization can't be judged as assets in monetary value.
Here in Hindustan promoters and developers I have noticed that the staff give
their high potential to help the customers. They help them throughout their
entire needs. They make sure that they are satisfied with their contract work or
any verbally agreements. The data of each and every customers details are
stored in computers to make sure they is no fraud or misleading. The staff are
appropriately dealing with each customer.
STRUCTURE:
SHARED VALUES:
* Leadership core
* Confidentiality
* Espirit de crops
STYLE:
I have analysed that my work style or leadership style in the organisation has
big impact . The organisation has all the strength, confidence, ethics and
integrity. Although The top management takes the final decisions and important
decisions the authorities and responsibilities is still in the hands of each and
every staff in the organisation. I have realised that in this organisation the
decisions taken by each and every staff matters and not just the top
management, which is actually great. The importance given to every staff is
absolutely satisfactory. Sometimes the decisions taken quickly by ceo is
beneficial because unnecessary delay can cause unwanted consequences/ loss.
The leadership qualities improves a lot in here because they look into our
decisions wether we are taking it lightly or seriously. There are some minor
errors but they are just very rarely happening.
The staff in here are very much focused on teamwork because a team work
makes the work smarter and easy. The teamwork helps to be on top among other
competitors. The staff does their own work and helps others when necessary.
SKILLS
Since this is a field which contains constructions field work and also office
work, skills are highly taken into consideration. There are plenty of work in
construction side and that requires set of workers who are highly experienced
and confident. When it comes to other departments like accounting, HR, sale
staff and not takers . The skill is not that much considered. I have seen many
freshers doing their own job and they’re quite good at what they do.
SYSTEM:
The whole organisation system is managed very efficiently. All departments are
working together as a teamwork and stays unity. Each member are
interconnected to the ceo and the middle management for any service.
everything is managed systematically.
CHAPTER-5:- LEARNING
EXPERIENCE AND CONCLUSION
LEARNING EXPERIENCE
The internship at Hindustan promoters and developers PVT LTD has made a
huge impact on getting a pragmatic experience for my career. I have been part
of marketing department for about 15 days from 17-10-2021 to 31-10-2021.
During this internship I have got to experience a lot about how practical work is
adapted from the management theories and how they are related to the function
the organisation of Hindus promoters and developers. I had my own reviews
about how this would be but after being part of this organisation I have been
able to realise how these are been systematically done.I could myself experience
the marketing department on how we convinced the customers and how we use
to show them the site work etc. it was great experience to interract with the
customers .I’m lucky that I got to do my internship here and happy that I got to
do it in Hindustan promoters and developers. Here I have experienced the
interaction I had with multiple customers and that has changed my
communication skills towards the customers. It showed me how to
communicate in the corporate world . It has thought me how to behave in the
workplace and I have met many types of customers. I have learnt to have the
mindset when it comes to workplace and how to deal with different people in
order to have healthy relationship . Working in this marketing department and
been part of the policies of this organisation has prepared me to be on my
highest potential for the next experience when I get into a new workplace .I
have observed many situations in this organisation and I have learnt that to be
motivated , have teamwork, and help to complete the task accordingly. I have
also learnt that to stay motivated and be strong enough to deal with the negative
results , and how to overcome the negative situation. But whatever marketing
role you go for in the end, you can expect your job to give you a varied
workday, a great work-life balance, good pay and plenty of opportunities to be
creative. Marketing can spark your inner artist. There are always new designs to
craft, tools to use, and ideas to come up with. Creating visually appealing
content is a great way to entice people to want to learn more. More importantly
it doesn’t matter how skilled you are because marketing explores your creativity
. Before joining the internship I had no idea this is how it would be . I thought
the workplace will be very hectic and staff will be unhelpful and also rude. But
once I got into this , it is really something to be experienced before joining any
work. I have seen that the department respects the employees very much
regardless of their status. Even though the employees have incompleted the
work , the managers have motivated them and made them do the work . It is a
lesson to learn for every marketing people . The data’s wer systematically
arranged and stored in each device so that they don’t misplace. That is
important thing which I’ve noticed. They have many computers to store each
documents under specific department. That has reduced the wasteage of time for
searching file or anything. The systems are not easily accessible, they have their
own passcodes to access and it’s all safe to proceed in this organisation. I had
to do the file work only thrice and that was a little bit difficult as I was a
fresher , but over all I enjoyed having this experience.
CONCLUSION
An internship is a temporary position with an emphasis on on-the-job training
rather than merely employment, and it can be paid or unpaid. It is a professional
learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student's
field of study or career interest. However, this internship has given me the
opportunity for my career exploration and development. I have gained a lot of
knowledge about marketing and the functions implemented to an organisation.
Hindustan Promoters And Developers Pvt Ltd is one of the best places to get
good practical experience, good communication skills , and improve behaviour.
They are committed to provide good quality service and also respect everyone
equally. Each staff are highly motivated and that has helped the others to do the
work on time.
This internship has given me a great experience and has helped Me in many
ways.
