The bounce rate of a website is important because it reveals how well, or how poorly,
visitors engage with the content or user experience of that pages. The bounce rate is
calculated when someone visits a single page on your website and then leaves without
doing anything. The number of visitors that leave a website without taking any action, like
as purchasing anything, filling out a form, or clicking on a link, is referred to as the bounce
rate.
MMT shows an Average Bounce Rate of 43.29% since, as an online travel firm, it must have
a bounce rate of less than 40% to be classed as having a decent bounce rate. A bounce rate
of 26 to 40% is considered great as a rule of thumb. The average is between 41 and 55
percent.
For the previous three months, total visits have been steadily growing. The major reason for
this is a drop in the number of Covid cases and individuals taking advantage of this chance
to travel as much as possible after the country's back-to-back lockdowns. Also, there is slight
decrease in December people prebook their trips in November and during December they
prefer to travel more and not to waste time on websites so you can see little dip but still
much higher as compared to October.

 Our rivals' bounce rates, such as Goibibo and TripAdvisor, are greater than MMT's,
implying that customers are more engaged on the MMT platform.
 They've also seen an increase in overall visitors over the last three months as well.
The rationale remains the same, namely, a decrease in the number of daily covid
cases throughout the world, resulting in an increase in travel rates.
 If you see the number of visits in the last month of December for all three websites,
we can clearly see goibibo stands with 15.3M, TripAdvisor at 19.1M and the comes
MakeMyTrip at 36.3M which clearly shows the level of engagement of MakeMyTrip.
 If we see global ranking of these three websites in terms of traffic then TripAdvisor
stand on 3,238th position, goibibo on 4,250th whereas MakeMyTrip is at 1322.
