wealth, that He may con rm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

First refers to be “best” and not leftovers.

We cannot out give God.

God will take care of us.

a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In
8 ““Will
tithes and o erings.

9 You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!

10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test
Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and
pour out for you a blessing until it over ows.”

Malach 3:8-1 NASB199

O erings are voluntary gifts given for a speci c purpose. (Designated Giving)

God does not need food nor money. It is a privilege to give or bring to God
what belongs to Him.

holy to the Lord.”

22 This stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be God’s house, and of all that You give me I
will surely give a tenth to You.””

2. Giving Blesses others.

neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are

6 “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows

churches of Macedonia,

2 that in a great ordeal of a iction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty over owed in
the wealth of their liberality.

3 For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord,

4 begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints, and this,
not as we had expected,

5 but they rst gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.”

“HE GIVETH MORE GRACE”

By : Annie J. Flint (Excerpt)

Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision

Our God ever yearns His blessing to share

Oh lean on the arms everlasting , availing

The Father both thee and thy load will upbear

His love has no limits, His grace has no measure

His power no boundary known unto men

For out of His in nite riches in Jesus

He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again

““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

Joh 3:1 NASB199

https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.3.16.NASB1995

We don’t have the power or ability to save ourselves, we don’t have the power or ability to earn
our way to heaven. That is one power who don’t have and will never have. God knew that we
are spiritually bankrupt and in deep moral deficit , that is why He gave and He gave, Jesus.
