Why do you think society needs science and technology?

- Science and technology provides discoveries for the betterment of the society. As we all
know, the world we live in is all about science; everything we see, use, eat, hear, and touch are
because of science. From the alarm clocks we hear every morning, the food we eat a day, the car
we use to travel, the clothes we wear, and more. As time passes by, science was deepen by the
innovation of technology. The things we use becomes modernize each day- the mails become
paperless as we can have it straight in our smartphones, we can have light in just a tap of our
finger, medicines are invented to cure serious diseases, and many more.
Science and technology are keys to economic and social development. It continuously
builds research capacity in promoting world-class society. It helps the scientists to be competent
and to be eager in discovering new innovations for all the people- and for the new generation to
come. Science and technology also produces new products that the society needs. The economy
will eventually go down if not because of science and technology; the production of goods will
slow down if not because of machines; thus, the society needs it to continue life and living.
