I have visited different furniture services around Dili which are the big furniture service in the
centre of Dili, such: Sisca Meubel Unipessoal, LDA in Balide. Meubel Lurumata JLH, Fatuhada,
Dili, Timor Leste. Mustica Meubel, Lda. The aim of the visit is to get information regarding how
they could make spear guns. From the list above, the furniture services only focus on making the
Window, door, chair, cupboard cabinet etc. Most of the furniture services answer the same.
 
1. What would you make wood for a spear gun?
- We are not be able to make it because we have no experience yet to make spear gun
- We have no tools to use for building the spear guns
-According to the license it only provides the service for making only windows, doors, chairs,
cupboards, bed and cabinet etc.
-Hard to find the quality of wood used for building a spear guns
Note: Most of the wood they are using is teak wood.
2. What is the price per unit of the spear gun if you are going to make it?
- Their concerns regarding the price per unit of the spear gun are approximately $25-$100.
3. What is your opinion regarding the type of wood used for building a spear gun?
- Kayu trembesi in Indonesian language
- Mahogany
-Teak wood
Recommendation
-          The teak wood in Timor is not suitable to use for build spear gun the reason is
influence a bit of less quality like it’s a bit soft, if use to go to fishing maybe it will not
use long
