Where You Can Find Me

One of the biggest aspect of living on a community that is very culture- centered that
embodies the history that made of what it is today, makes me an individual who values everything
that consists of my home community. Just like the others, I tend to develop attachment and
sentimental identification with the area in which I live permanently. I became more observable
and gives importance on the changes in every aspect of it. Living nearly on the main road, which
is exactly 114 steps away, awakens me on the development of every infrastructure on our street
or barangay on which contributes to the skills I developed that I uses as an architecture student.
These changes became the landmark that I uses to easily point out the location of our house.
Starting from the main road before going to our house, you can witness two commercial
buildings that are proofs that enhancements continue to grow in our town. There is a drugstore
located on the left side in which very helpful to the people for easier access of medicines. At the
right, there is a motor shop that is adjacent to some houses. Then, before reaching our home, a
house owned by my auntie will be found and gives a very relaxing vibe because of its style. After
our house, there are two residential building placed at the back, approximately 7 to 20 meters
away from our house. The whole compound or block is a safe place but the safest one is our
home because aside that it is away from the noises of the road, I also feel the safest with the
comfort of my family.
We may not located on the most improved cities, there are also lot to appreciate in our
place. Our compound consists of cluster if buildings in an enclosure, having a share or associated
purpose, such as the houses of an extended family. Also, the location of our compound near on
an intersecting road is a fine bliss to me as I am very fascinated of cars and vehicles going through
different streets. A lot of improvements will going to happen in our place since it is near on the
business center of our town and I believe it will attract lots of clients because of its location that is
easiest to locate.
I am a firm believer that a citizen is dependent upon the community. Both involves the
physical and physiological dependence. Everything that I need so far can be easily accessed in
my town and I find peace in where I am living right now.
