0 CONCLUSION

Aim of this task was to find the deflection as a function of load and find
the deflection as a function of different test material has been completed
successfully. The experiments were performed on Cantilever beam with two dial
gauge and result where plotted on graphs and were discussed in details.. We use
two type of material , aluminium and copper in this experiment. In conclusion, we can
conclude, this experiment proves that the theory of deflection of beam on cantilever
beam can be proved by an experiment conducted in the laboratory. Things that
affect the value of the deflection of beam can also be identified.

4.0 SAFETY AND HEALTH:

4.1 Make sure the student follow the laboratory or workshop safety regulators.

4.2 Experiment must be conduct by lecturers or experience lab assistance.

4.3 Always know hazards associated with the material that are being utilized in the
lab.

4.4 Always wear appropriate protective clothing.

4.5 Never perform unauthorized work , preparations or experiment.

4.6 Be familiar with the location of emergency equipment – fire alarm , fire
extinguisher , emergency eye wash and safety shower. Know the appropriate
emergency response procedures.

4.7 Do not impact or over press the dial gauge.

4.8 Do not overload the test specimen.
