Answer: the author’s main thesis in the essay is its main purpose is to
highlight the selfish point of view of husbands and their traditional
expectations out of wives, and inequality suffered by women.

2. What is the concept being defined in the essay?


Answer; The concept being defined in the essay is the role of women,
specifically, wives to their husbands and children. .

3. How was the concept developed? What techniques of defining were


used?
Answer: The concept developed bymentioning the concept which is wives.
Then, using the technique of defining examples by mentioning concrete
situations of the role that wives must fulfill based on society's standard.

4. What is the author’s definition of a wife or being a wife?


Answer: The author’s definition of a wife or being a wife is a wife is a
female partner in a continuing marital relationship.  woman who has
separated from her partner, and ceases to be applied to such
a woman only when her marriage has come to an end, following a legally
recognized divorce or the death of her spouse

Answer: Yes there is aclear structure and clear introduction, body , and

Answer: The purpose of the writer in defining the concept is to takes more
opinion to the one who's answering his/her question .

7. Is there a significant difference between the role of a wife and of a


mother? Explain your answer.
Answer: For me there is no significant between the role of a wife and of a
mother because they have the same roles in the family. At times, she can
be a mother to him and at other times a good friend. ... Unlike in the case
of a mother and child, in the case of a wife and husband the relationship
has to be created little by little.
