Introduction
On March 2019, when the whole world was suffering a huge public health crisis as well as
there had been a huge amount of the unemployment which has lead to a huge financial loss
but in the two years of these transitory situation, the Corona Virus or COVID 19 has played a
very destructive role in the survival as well as it had ruined the enjoyment all over the world.
This virus has also ceased the working of many public transports like airways, roadways and
so on.
But before we get acquainted with the subject we should know about the “ Corona Virus or
Covid 19”.
Coronavirus is a virus which is caused by severe respiratory syndrome ( SARS CoV-2) .
Those who are infected with this syndrome experience a serious illness and they also require
medical attention . Apart from the respiratory problem they also undergo the cardiovascular
disease which are more likely to develop a serious illness.
In the present situation, there had been a lot of transitions from every side be it in education ,
medical , and so on. So far as the digitalization is concerned, the digital media has played a
dominion role in the various sector which has healed and simplified the ongoing process of
everyday’s task with the implementation of softwares like “Google Meet”, “Zoom”, which is
a video conferencing sites that has made the communications very easy. So far as the health
issues are concerned, various governmental personnels have implemented various apps like “
Aarogya Setu” as well as “Cowin” which will detect the symptoms as weit will help the
people to register for their vaccination doses by just a simple touch on the required questions.
This Artificial Intelligence technology has predicted all the information accurately . This
comes from the concept of the “Machine Learning” which is a type of artificial intelligence
which allows the software application to convey the information accurately and the machine
learning algorithms use the data to predict the new values.
Certain technologies have been developed by the various medical scientists which is helping
the doctors to diagnose accurately as well as it also predicts by analysing the datas for the
purpose of the future developments. This dissertation is fully based on the upcoming
developments of the various medical systems which will deal with the developments of the
patients who are infected with the virus.

Research aims

The aim of the research is to give a huge assistance to the medical staff worldwide to figure
out various ailments occurring to the covid patients by providing healthcare resources and
also to highlight the ongoing process of the Machine Learning algorithms during the
pandemic as well as this research will also focus on two main motives like diagnosis of the
COVID 19 and prediction of the mortality risk of the patients by using the clinical and th
laboratory data.

Research Objectives

The objective of this research is to make sure that the study of machine learning has played a
huge impact on the medical personnels that have helped to define the accurate diagnosis of
the symptoms .

Literature Review
The conceptualization of the digitised health data has presented huge data regarding the
patient’s data by the implementation of the features such as the Thermoscan which will help
to detect the virus within a second . From this point of view it is proved that the role of
machine learning and algorithms has helped a lot in investigating various purposes related to
Covid 19. In the year 2020, various studies, journals as well articles related to the diagnosis
of Covid 19 using machine learning have been published and various findings have shown
that the concept of the machine learning can produce an authentic result and it is also tested
with an accuracy of 92.9% .

Contribution of the machine learning in diagnosing Covid 19

According to (Alimadadi 2020), the governments of the world should be aware of the severe
actions related to Covid 19. According to (Brinati 2020) radiology and imaging are the
machine learning system which deals with diagnosing of the various stages and hazards of
Covid 19 by testing on the CT scan which is important to minimise the virus transmission on
human in order to cure the people and according to ( Deng 2020) it is conveyed that the
concept of the machine learning has shown a very important understanding of the Covid 19
diagnosis such as the CT Scan which can be regarded as the first screening and according to (
Kassani 2004) it is stated that the the first screening of the Coronavirus is differed between
the pneumonia and the Covid 19 pneumonia by using the CT Scan of the lungs.

Concept of the machine learning in Covid 19

According to (Hossain 2019) the concept of machine learning is considered as the most
promising tools for the medical professionals to intervene in curing the patients with the
technology. Recently there has been a different perspective of the work of detecting the
Covid 19 cases which includes the recognition of Covid 19 cases by using the machine
learning system . the algorithms of the activity from the machine learning are considered as
the imaging system that provides a great help in imaging the problems by using the support of
the radiologist which deals with the analysis of the complex imaging of the symptoms as
there are models which are capable of analysing the medical image as well as recognizing the
Covid 19 which results in viewing of the assessment, viewing, classification of the disease
and minimising the death ratio.
It can be classified by comparing the deep knowledge in order to achieve the highest rate of
accuracy.

Machine Learning based on detecting Covid 19

According to the International Journal of Information Technology, the swift development of

the technology in the healthcare sector has shown a great result through its decision of
analysing the data and the Covid 19 has affected many countries and has provided a lot of
support in the identification of the disease . It can also develop as well as classify the data
into different categories. According to the data published by John Hopkins mentioned in the
data, the clinical reports classifies the text into four different diseases which can help in
detecting the coronavirus from the records of the symptoms. According to bullock, it is
proclaimed that machine learning and depth learning can provide accurate diagnosis to the
people and this accuracy can save the time of the radiologists as well as it is cost effective .
various technologies like X-Rays and Computed Tomography or (CT Scan) can be used as a
training for machine learning. Two medical scientists , “Wang and Wong” developed a new
software named “COVID Net” which is a network used to diagnose the Covid 19 from the
chest radiography image. Once the virus is detected in a person ,then it will provide a result
of the requirement of the minute attention.

According to WHO, the coronavirus has been declared as a health emergency and the
researchers and the hospital personnels have given an open access to the data related to the
pandemic. The data consisted of 212 patients with the symptoms of the Coronavirus.

Classification of the machine learning related to Covid 19

The classification of the machine learning is done in order to classify the different types of
viruses that are Coronavirus, ARDS, and SARS and so on and the machine learning
algorithms like SVM (Simple Vector Machines), logistic regression are used for performing
the task.
The concept of the information technology as well as the artificial intelligence have played a
vital role in analyzing the trends of Covid 19. It has also helped to handle the great results of
Covid 19 predictions. From the various algorithms of machine learning, we have been trying
very hard to find out the hidden trends and the concept of “Data Handling Technology” is

performance to predict the outcome and help to make a real time decision . According to
(Patel 2015) data handling application is very helpful in implementing a better policy and it
also helps to prevent hospital error.
Earlier , the outburst of the deadly virus demolished by getting spreaded globally which led to
the loss of thousand lives as well as a huge financial loss or GDP of the world. After
numerous group discussions by the governmental officials, it was proclaimed that various
machine learning clinical predictions should be established in order to maintain good health.

Effects of Coronavirus (COVID 19) in Machine Learning

According to (Ruan 2020) it is revealed that the analysis as well as the clinical prediction
have been made on 150 Chinese patient’s records as well as the authors like (Rothan and
Byrareddy) have highlighted in their articles that the symptoms , epidemiology as well as the
transmission should be highlighted . According to ( Alimadadi 2020), it is suggested that the
concept of machine learning and artificial intelligence are the most powerful techniques
which will aid the people to fight with Covid 19 that will help in prevention, diagnosis and
the operations held in the hospital. The concept of machine learning has given a big support
in the identification of diseases with the help of images and textual datas. Simultaneously,

progress is made in the area to resolve the critical project.
To deal with the problems there has been an implementation of machine learning which will
gain a huge recovery of the patients as well as the clinical reports will be refined in a better
way.

Cloud framework in healthcare industry

The models of Machine Learning deal with an advanced study of the new cases. To develop a
quick analysis, we will create a frame to place the model as well as the bulk of the machine
learning in this application is supervised and various AI technologies have been researched in
the literature such as deep learning as well as ANN ( Artificial Neural Network) and
Evolutionary Algorithms.
This framework has motivated research in the area of Artificial Technology such as the data
entry and Machine Learning techniques which has been developed because of their impact on
human life and this section largely deals with the motivation to save lives.

In this dissertation, there has been a repetitive presentation of machine learning based on the
Covid 19 prediction and there was less information. It should have concentrated on more
information as well as various updates of the results should be given for the further studies to
explore the different disease as well as the features of it.

Conclusion

The advancement in technology has rapidly prospered in every spheres of life be it in a

healthcare industry. Apart from the technology, artificial intelligence has shown an authentic
result in the respective departments by analyzing the data. From the above facts it is clear that
the corona virus disease is a very unconventional disease which is cured by maintaining good
hygiene and simultaneously, various studies have been initiated to detect the causes of the
health problem by the implementation of machine learning which is related to Covid 19.
From the above facts it is cleared that the Machine Learning technology has assisted in
increasing the accuracy as well as the identification of the cases to deal with the health issues
efficiently as well as it has shown a great result to save the human lives in the world and it
has also helped to create an acquaintance with the health issues by just a simple touch and

type on the Smartphones and it may not be 100% accurate but it is used as an extensive
measures . It has provided a huge help and plenty of the research related to Machine Learning
is still being pursued by enhancing the further work developments to get more accurate
results.
