1. D.O. 55, s. 2007 “Prioritizing the Mainstreaming of Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management in the School System and Implementation of Programs and
Projects Relative Thereof” Section III.1.ii states - The School Head/Principal
shall initiate the organization of a schools Disaster Risk Reduction Management
Group;

2. Building upon this, D.O. 21, s. 2015 “Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Coordination and Information Management Protocol” Section IV.A.1.i states -
Schools shall: Organize school DRRM Team to support the implementation of
preparedness and response measures;

3. D.O. 33, s. 2015 “Student-Led School Watching and Hazard Mapping” aims to
instruct all public elementary and secondary schools in the specific engagement
of learners in identifying and addressing hazards and risks;

4. D.O. 27, s. 2015 “Promoting Family Earthquake Preparedness” instructs all


schools to administer the family earthquake preparedness homework and to
involve the PTA in the discussion of answers;

5. D.O. 33, s. 2021 “School-based Disaster Preparedness and Response Measures


For Tropical Cyclones, Flooding, and Other Weather-Related Disturbances and
Calamities guides public schools in preparing for and responding to the impacts
of the aforementioned hazards.
