We all want to do something good in this world.

We dream of saving people or doing great deeds that

make a positive impact on the lives of others, but what makes us truly heroic? Can we simply put our

arms around someone and say they are saved because we were there? Is it enough just to step up when

somebody needs help; is that being a hero? There are three essential things needed for heroism: courage,

compassion, and empathy. Courage allows us to face fear head-on; compassion helps us understand the

pain another person experiences even if they’re not physically present; empathy lets us feel their feelings

as though we were experiencing them ourselves.

A “hero” is someone who has done something extraordinary, courageous and selfless. Throughout
history, there have been many people who have been dubbed “heroes”, and for various reasons.
Some of these reasons may revolve around their acts of bravery, while others might be due to the
sacrifices they have made on behalf of others. However, whatever the reason, being a “hero” is
certainly an admirable characteristic.

It is clear to me that I possess a number of the qualities that make up a hero. For example, I am brave –

even though I don't always like to admit it – and I am also very courageous. I have had the opportunity to

do things that most people would never consider doing, and that has definitely made me a fierce fighter.

Additionally, I am also selfless. I have put myself in danger numerous times in order to help others, and I

have never shied away from a fight or a challenge. I believe that I have what it takes to be a hero, and I

am determined to make that happen.

In order to be a hero, it is not enough to possessed the necessary qualities. I also need to put those
qualities into practice, and that is where the challenge lies. I know that it will not be easy to become
a hero, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. I believe that with enough effort,
anything is possible.

Becoming a hero is something that I am definitely interested in, and I am willing to put in the effort
necessary to achieve my goals. I believe that I have the necessary qualities, and I am willing to put
them to use in order to help others. I know that it will not be easy, but I am willing to fight for what I
believe in.
