Exchanger System Helps Food Packager Put the Soup On
Stacked exchangers in series improve cooling while lowering
maintenance costs. The six smaller-diameter shell-and-tube
heat exchangers mounted in a rack were better able to cool
hot soup for packaging and allow the food packager to use
free cooling in the winter months.

Recirculating Coolers for Constant Temperature Control
The CS line of chillers combines cool and smart technology in one unit. All the models are air-
cooled and work with refrigerants R404A. They are equipped with bypass, manometer and sensor
to monitor the flow. The temperature control is part of the secondary circuit. A motorized valve
on the primary circuit automatically regulates the water volume. The models are equipped with a
recirculation pump with performance up to 125 l/min and 4.5 bar. With a cooling power up to 30
kW, the devices are particularly suited for constant temperature control for laboratory applications.
The compact recirculating chillers are designed for low noise operation.

Constant-Pressure, Constant-Airflow Blowers
Constant pressure and constant airflow blowers automatically adjust to maintain
optimum performance levels in changing conditions. The 180x180L EC double-inlet
models are CE-approved and meet ErP 2015 efficiency requirements. The forward-curved
centrifugal blowers, designated the GDSV8 Series, are powered by 230 V single-phase,
50/60 Hz EC motors. They run at speeds as high as 2255 rpm and generate a maximum
airflow of more than 1000 cfm at free air. Speed control is possible through pulse-width
modulation, 0 to 10 VDC, or a potentiometer.
