Since my childhood, I was told to pursuit something I was passionate about while serving

humanity for the better. I had interest towards experimenting and making toys with electrical
equipments since the beginning. Not knowing much about electronics, I used to get fascinated
by the idea of machine working and making decisions on their own and intelligent systems
working and thinking like humans just by using a green silicon board.
Till my late teen years, I didn’t know how electronics devices work or what was going on behind
the curtains of a PCB board. It was only after I had attended some introductory lectures in some
seminars and got into basic physics in high-school that I realized the amount of creativity and
logical thinking involved in the development of a working electrical equipment and decided to
pursuit my career in the field of Electrical Engineering. During my undergraduate degree, I quickly
grew fond of electronics. I never considered myself a gifted engineer but I was insistent and
determined to get better. To me, electrical engineering was daunting, provoking and tempting at
the same time. Endless possibilities of solving a problem and the idea of translating your thoughts
on a piece of hardware fascinated me.
Recently I have been working in “BitsGroove Pvt. Ltd” as an IOT Engineer with more than 3
months of work experience in Home Automation and Control field. As a highly motivated
undergraduate majoring in Electrical (Electronics) Engineering in a Dual-Degree Programme with
Lancaster University, UK, one of top ranked university in the world, I have gained hands-on
experience in different research areas specially Renewable Energy, Power, Control Systems,
Digital Signal Processing, Industrial Electronics with PLC, Embedded Systems, Electric Machines,
Micro-controller Systems and Interface that provided me with a strong footing in the theoretical
concept of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. With my four years' consistent efforts and keen
interest, besides courses listed on my transcript, I did a lot of experiments in relation to these
courses. I was involved in a graduate research team which mainly focused on Micro-controllers,
Control Systems and Power Electronics. Together with my excellent supervisor "Mian Ahmed
Yaser" and my group fellow, I worked on final year thesis and hardware research project
“Improved Sine Wave Hybrid Inverter Using MPPT and Load Control” and evaluated successful
results as well as I got A grade (GPA: 3.70 / 4.00) in that major project. I've currently submitted
my conference paper to IEEE publications which is based on my thesis.
My passion for Automation and Control is not baseless. The charm this field holds in itself is what
attracts me. I have developed such a strong will to exploit the full potential of my field in the
social and humanitarian service. I hope that being an expert of electronics will help me devise a
methodology to help the law enforcement agencies in the implementation of law; I hope to offer
my contribution to the field of health and medicine, and regulation on a large scale by devising
highly efficient device systems that might facilitate the hospitals to manage the patients in a more
systematized manner as well as regulate the big plants and control them using the latest SCADA
Technology. My actual purpose of applying for ”Control and Automation (AUT)” is to expand the
scope of my knowledge as well as improve my skills in my field so as to create better opportunities
for myself in the accomplishment of my aims.
I wish in particular to be trained at an advanced level in Robust Control, Programmable Logic
Controller (PLC), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM),
Computer numerical Control (CNC), Process Control Devices (PCD) and Digital Signal Processing.
Apart from academics, I am excellent in extra-curricular activities. as a member of IEEE, I have
taken the initiatives to organize numerous seminars and competitions. These experiences
improved my leadership, responsibility, creativity and team work skill. I’ve won 3 painting
competitions on the state level. For the love of science, I’ve a YouTube channel “Scientifically
Explained” where I make videos on science with animation. The goal and passion of this channel
is to teach people worldwide who don’t have access to educational institutes and to teach people
about science and the subjects I’ve studied in my bachelors degree as well as what I’ll be studying
in future. This degree “Automation and Control” will definitely help me in this regard.
During my 4 years undergraduate studies, I have met people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Such multi-cultural encounter has evoked in me a desire to know and explore different cultures
of the world and studying at TU Kaiserslautern will be a stepforward in fulfilling my desire to
experience diversity. The cultural and technical interactions cultivated by this Master’s degree
program will help me savour the diverse studying experiences, which will be ideal for my future
endeavors.
The 90th rank of Technische Universität Kaiserslautern in Times Higher Education’s top young
educational institutes around the globe signifies the progress of institute over the years. I believe
that program at EIT department at TU Kaiserslautern is perfectly structured in order to cater to
my interests and skills mentioned above. This coupled with the university’s international repute
and research pedigree makes it an ideal choice for my postgraduate studies. Considering my past
skills and professional venture, I am prepared to enhance my knowledge of Electrical Engineering
and definitely looking forward to take the step in the breath taking world of learning and ensure
to put maximum effort in every regard at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
