Snake Bites

Most people are frightened by snakes. What they cannot understand is that snakes are usually
harmless. Snake bite do not occur often, and when they do, they are because the snakes are
surprised. If one is near an area where there are snakes, it is best to use a trick and make
enough noise to let the snake know that you are around. The snake will crawl away by it. If you
do come across one that is ready to strike, the best thing to do is to “freeze” for a few minutes.
Most snakes retreat without biting if they find you harmless. A snake bites only in defense, and
if it senses no harm, it will go its own way.
