A tall aquarium almost calls for upright hardscape
and slim, grassy plants like the Cyperus helferi
and Eriocaulon. 
To soften the appearance a little, we attached
  small tufts of Micranthemum ’Monte Carlo’ to the
dragonstone and created a lawn of Elatine
hydropiper.
