CALL FOR PAPERS
This call for papers invites contributions to the UIA World Congress 2023
Copenhagen Science Track asking by which means and through what
actions can architecture understand, build and fulfill its active role in
achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present at the UIA World Congress 2023 Copenhagen
July 2-6, 2023 and accepted papers will be published in the peer-reviewed proceedings published
by Springer.

VISION
Architecture and our built environments have extensive and complex impact on human and non-
human wellbeing. To fulfill the SDG vision to ‘leave no one behind’, the the Science Track of the
UIA World Congress 2023 Copenhagen asks how architecture can activate its profound agency
in shaping our societies and its potentials for a sustainable, equitable and inclusive future for all.

We ask how critically engaged design, policy SDGs and their targets. The call encourages sub-
