OPENING PROCEDURES

Pick up all trash in parking lot and playground

Check pool water for clarity and rotation

Pick up all trash in pool area and snackbar area
Wipe clean tables around pool and snackbar
Straighten all pool furniture and Cabana furniture

Vacuum areas of pools that needed cleaning

Empty all skimmers

Check lighthouse waterslide for cleanliness
Get out all pool forms and notebooks

Unlock bathrooms and check for cleanliness

Complete the Bathroom Opening Checklist (HRI Form 930)

Open pool equipment room doors and clean if necessary

Straighten and clean guard room and chemical storage area

Clean outdoor shower area including floor drains

Audit all safety equipment and put in appropriate place.

Test water in pools with chemical test kit, record results

Alert supervisor if chemical readings are not in appropraite range

Get in stand, smile and be attentive, courteous and friendly
