Happy Women’s Month!

This year’s celebration of Women’s Day is significant as we are marking the 25th year of adoption of
the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, a global commitment to achieving equality,
development and peace for women.

As our way of joining our sisters in other parts of the world in realizing women’s rights and declaring
that we are Generation Equality, the Regional Office of the Commission on Human Rights and Kaabag
sa Sugbo hope to gather partners in civil society, including the academe and faith community, to a
continuing conversation on how we can contribute to the continuing struggle to end gender-based
violence, call for economic justice and women action for climate justice.
