Prefer BCCH mark

• With this parameter (preferredBcchMark) you can mark one TRX as preferred
TRXs where the BCCH is reconfigured
• This parameter takes effect in BCCH TRX swaps
• Example:
- Let’s consider a 2 TRX BTS, BCCH is configured on TRX-1, and TCHs on
TRX-2
- In case TRX-1 goes down, TRX-2 will take over as BCCH
- When TRX-1 comes back again, BCCH will remain on TRX-2 if “Prefer
BCCH mark” is not implemented. When preferredBcchMark is implemented,
TRX-1 will return carrying BCCH activities
- This is beneficial because frequency planning is based on TRX IDs, i.e.
BCCH frequency is changed on TRX ID=1 in this case
