A PROPOSED ONE-STOP-SHOP MALASAKIT since both establishments will be located in

CENTER one site.

Derived from the word ‘Malasakit’, the
concept for this project is to provide and
extend help to the needy. The One-Stop-
Shop Malasakit Center will serve as an
option that certain people can turn to when
they need assistance for their medical
expenses. Since our country lacks facilities
like this, the goal is to make it accessible to
most people as much as possible and allow
the establishment to operate, faster thus
the name ‘One-Stop-Shop’.
Malasakit Center will be located and built
within or nearby a hospital ground. The
purpose for this is to maximize the services
and facilities because there is a direct
connection between these two
establishments since the people would
most likely avail the support of medical
agencies are patients from hospitals.
Accessibility and Circulation. Spaces in
general will be arranged in a way that will
allow people to access and navigate
through space easily. This will also be
applied on entry points and access roads
since ‘urgency’ is a critical factor that needs
to be considered in the medical fields.
Green spaces. There will be multiple open
spaces and application of green design in
both site and the buildings. This is to put
importance to the need of sustainable
designs as well as to create an environment
that is more comfortable and connected to
nature.

DESIGN FEATURES

Fluidity of work through space design. This

means that facilities will carefully be taken
into consideration in order to allow better
work flow within the space. The chain of
operations and services will be connected
for better efficiency and continuity of space.

All-around Facility. The combination of

Malasakit Center and Hospital will allow a
range of services and functions to be
offered in one place. This will save people
time from jumping in one place to another
