Disparities in health are addressed by community health programs that ensure
equal access to health resources. Living in a remote rural region with few healthcare providers or being unable to purchase health insurance are examples of such discrepancies. In communities where socioeconomic reasons impede health equity, community health centers frequently function as the primary care provider. The collective well-being of community members is referred to as community health. These communities generally share health traits, ethnicities, and socioeconomic conditions in addition to residing in the same area or region. For example, due to a lack of nutritional meals in local grocery stores, some low-income communities may have high obesity rates. This places them in what is known as a "food desert." In community health, public health specialists look at how socioeconomic factors like money, diet, crime, and transportation affect people. My neighborhood is tiny but well-equipped, with a public school, health clinics, and a little basketball court, among other things... The environment is clean; we have safe homes and neighborhoods, as well as pure water and air. Better health is connected to being surrounded and supported by family, friends, and neighbors. We also celebrate fiestas especially in the church and anniversary in the wards/ streets. Sometimes there is trouble in our community but it is solved immediately with the help of our barangay guard and captain because they maintain peace and order.
