CONCLUSION
Tarigan (1984) suggests that syntax is a branch of grammar that deals with the structure
of sentences, clauses, and phrases.
• Sentence is a language unit that is relatively

stand alone, have a final intonation pattern and actually and potentially consist of clauses, for
example, I eat rice.
• Meanwhile, a clause is a linguistic form unit consisting of a subject and a predicate.

- Phrases are grammatical units that do not exceed

limit of a subject or predicate function So, it can be concluded that language errors in the
field of syntax include: phrase errors, clause errors, and sentence errors.
