KUE ASIDAH

Asidah Cake is made from spices in the form of


cinnamon, pandan, cloves. So that it makes it taste
savory and sweet.in addition, the texture of the cake
is soft. When served, usually people of the riau
often add fried onions on top of the asidah cake.
The sweet taste of the cake and distiactive taste of
fried onions make for a unique and unforgettable
experience when eating asidah cake.
Asidah cake form can vary depending on the
creativity of the maker.

 Ingredients

 2 Cup Wheat Flour


 1 Egg
 3 Glasses Of Water
 1 Cup Sugar
 2 Cloves And 1 Cm Cinnamon Finely Ground
 100 Gr Margarine, Melt
 1
/2 Teaspoon Salt
 1 Pandan Leaf. Mashed
 1 Gr Red Union, Thinly Sliced
 6 Tablespoons Of Cooking Oil For Frying Shallots

1. Fry thinly sliced shallots with 6 tablespoons of until yellow, drain.


2. Mix the remaining oil from frying the onions with the melted margarine, mix well,
used as a spread material
3. Sift the flour using a sleve
4. Then add sugar, beaten eggs, salt and crashed cloves, cinnamon and pandan leaves.
Stir until well blended
5. Then strain the dough into the pan, add 5 tablespoons of the mixture for the spread.
6. Turn on the fire using medium heat and stir constantly until it thickens and
doesn`tstick to your hands.
