Insights on Organic and Inorganic Chemistry

This subject provides me a better understanding on organic and

inorganic chemistry. This has of great help for me as a public teacher because
whatever knowledge I have gained in this subject can be use not only in
teaching but also on the basic thought of the important of chemistry in our life.
Organic and inorganic chemistry are two of the main disciplines of chemistry.
An organic chemist studies organic molecules and reactions while an inorganic
chemistry focuses on inorganic reactions. Both discipline deals with the
structure, properties and reactions of compounds. It plays an important role in
industries such as the rubber, plastics, fuel, pharmaceutical, cosmetics,
detergent, coatings, dyestuffs and agrichemicals industries. The foundations of
biochemistry, biotechnology and medicine are built on organic compounds and
their role in life processes. According to Hindawi, a journal of chemistry, most
of the modern, high-technology materials are composed, at least in part, of
organic and inorganic compounds. Clearly, separation of organic and inorganic
compounds is critically important to our high standard of living.
