Modular, online classes, blended learning, and home schooling are not
new in the Philippine education system, because some schools offer distance
learning, and they provide this set-up of teaching and learning process to the
students to cater student's diversity, learning style, and various students in
different situations to continue on learning and get the quality of education
they actually needed. But how does the pandemic alter everything and make
every student experience it? Who are the persons on whom we may rely in this
situation?

Many aspects of our daily life have changed as a result of the pandemic,
including young people's education. Friends, teachers, and students used to be
able to discuss things at school, but as a result of the pandemic, everything
changed, and a student like me had experienced home schooling or distant
learning, with myself as the teacher. Using the Department of Education and
school-provided module. Furthermore, distance learning has been ingrained in
our culture, particularly among students. It does, however, benefit students in
that I no longer have to walk to school and can take a break at home. I gained
new knowledge, learned to manage time, discovered new abilities, talents, and
skills, and learned through my knowledge, even while I was alone, in the midst
of the pandemic and with the module. Furthermore, I spent time with my
family and myself to grasp the solution to a math problem and a situational
question in another subject, and I discovered and realized that I am the only
ally and person who can help me. I am evidence of how distant learning affects
a student.

Distance learning will be advantageous for students who are self-

motivated and have access to online resources. There are many positive and
negative effects of distance learning for students we can consider, but if we
examine them, we can see that when a child goes online or to distance learning
because he or she is disinterested in learning, it has negative consequences,
thus, if a student wants to finish and study, he or she will overcome any
obstacles that may arise. Always remember the word "SELF-ALLIANCE" in the
face of every obstacle that stands in the path of your dreams.
