Statement of Purpose

I am Ms. Noemi Jesamine M. Duenas, 38 years of age,

and was born on August 8, 1981. I am a Filipino. I lived in Purok #1,
Poblacion, Bacolod Lanao del Norte, Philippines. I’m married and have
three kids. My husband’s name is Cristitoto M. Duenas, 47 years old
and his occupation is an International Seaman. My kids are namely;
Airah Alessandra M. Duenas, 15, Christopher Adam M. Duenas, 14 and
Christian Jacob M. Duenas 6. Since the duration of my schooling is only
one year, my family prefers to be just left at home.
I intend to enrol in a course of Graduate Diploma in
Management (Education) at ECA College, Sidney Australia and applying
for a Student Visa.
I was able to finish my Bachelor of Secondary Education
major in Home Economics at MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, Iligan
City in the year 2002. Luckily, I was employed as a teacher in the
Department of Education last 2007 and was assigned in Mainit National
High School, Mainit Iligan City. Five years later, I requested for
reassignment since the location of the school I was assigned was very
far from my place of residence at that time which is located at Dalipuga,
Iligan City and so I was reassigned at Bunawan, National High School,
Bunawan, Iligan City. I served that school for five years until 2018. My
family moved to Poblacion, Bacolod Lanao del Norte in 2018 and so I
decided to transfer to another school nearest to my home and the
name of the school is Binuni, Demologan National High School, Binuni,
Bacolod lanao del Norte and I’m currently working now in the above-
mentioned school.
 Being a teacher, it is my utmost desire to be fully
equipped with all the knowledge and skills as well as the expertise to be
able to become a very effective and dynamic teacher and leader.
Although, I know that the experience that I gain from my home country
is already enough but I believe that education is continuous and it is our
part as an individual to seek more opportunities for us to improve
oneself and become globally competent. Aside from that, it is my aim
to be able to reach out to my fellow teachers and colleagues, share and
impart to them the knowledge that I earn from going to school outside
the country so that the organization will be working for the common
good and everyone should be given the chance to grow professionally.
Being in a public school for more than 13 years enables me to
experience different kinds and styles of administration which made the
system inefficient and biased to the teachers. I wish to addressed this
issue and find better solution to the perennial problems in my own
department. It is my prayer that I could help and contribute to the best
of my ability to the Department of Education in my country when I
return home and somehow make a difference. This Australian Student
visa will allow me to attend to the ECA College, one of the prestigious
schools in Sidney, Australia and acquire Diploma in Management
(Education) which will give me the training specialized for the
educational management to make my career dreams come true.
