Usage The Guest Bedrooms are offered for short duration visits primarily by Wolfson current and former Members,
their relatives, friends and colleagues. As the host, Members are responsible for their guests’ well-being and should
be available to take care of them during their stay and to deal with any difficulties that arise. In particular, Members
are responsible for ensuring their guests observe check in/out times and housekeeping arrangements; treat
the Guest Room, College site and staff respectfully; and understand that the facilities are not of hotel
standard – though a very warm welcome is extended.

Arrival Rooms are available from 2pm on day of arrival. Please present your reservation confirmation on check-
in at the Lodge Reception. Please advise anticipated arrival time if after 11pm, so that we can alert the Night Porter.

Departure Rooms must be vacated by 10am on day of departure, and the key returned to the Lodge Reception.

Length of Stay Maximum of 7 nights within any calendar month for Guest Rooms; up to 14 nights for the Guest Suite.

Availability Given the scarcity and inexpensiveness of the accommodation, Guest Bedrooms are in very heavy
demand throughout the year. Members are advised to book well ahead, and not to presume availability for their dates.

Bedrooms There are four twin-bedded rooms, each with its own shower and toilet, plus a Guest Suite comprising twin
bedroom, sitting room, en-suite shower/toilet and kitchen equipped for self-catering. One Guest Room has some
adaptations for guests with mobility needs; please contact us to discuss your specific requirements. Capacity for each
room is maximum two people. A kettle, tea tray and television (with Freeview) are provided in the room. Guests are
reminded to bring their own toiletries. There are no telephones in these rooms, but WIFI internet is available, and can
be accessed through your own Oxford University Single-Sign-On or Eduroam password or a password available from
the Lodge Reception. Please note that the College gym is located immediately beneath the Guest Rooms, so guests
may hear some noise from weight-lifting and other exertions between the hours of 7am and 11pm.

Booking Contact the Conference Office. Booking priority is given to current or former Members of Wolfson College or
Common Room. Please provide name/s of room occupants at time of booking. Provisional bookings are not accepted.

Payment Current Members may put the charge on their battels. Hosts or guests may also pay in advance by
credit/debit card, cheque or cash via the Conference Office. For card payments, please telephone the Conference
Office with your card details; card details cannot be accepted by email. Charges can be invoiced to University
Departments, etc. by prior arrangement.

Cancellation ONE WEEK'S NOTICE in writing/by email to the Conference Office is always required to cancel a
booking without financial penalty, regardless of the cancellation reason; otherwise the booking will be charged in full.
The College reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time. The College will endeavour to give one months’
notice, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Catering Guests are most welcome to dine in Hall, on their University Card or by paying cash at the Servery till; credit
cards are not accepted. The Hall is open for lunch Monday to Saturday and for dinner Monday to Friday. Breakfast is
served during the Summer Vacation only. Only the Guest Suite is equipped for self-catering; the other Guest Rooms
are not suitable or comfortable for eating in. Nearby Linton Lodge is happy to offer breakfast to non-residents.

Parking Guest Room users are welcome to use the College car park, subject to finding an available space. Please
obtain a Car Parking Permit from the Lodge Reception when collecting your room key.

Cleaning Bedrooms are cleaned daily on weekdays. Linen is changed between bookings on weekdays only.
Housekeeping services are not provided at weekends nor in holiday periods.

Children/Pets These bedrooms are not suitable for children under 10 years of age nor for babies. Please note that
pets are not allowed in College accommodation.

No Smoking Please do not smoke in these rooms.

Insurance No insurance is provided by the College for guests’ personal belongings.
