● Made connections with the students, staff, and all other faculty.

● Planned and implemented a two week long unit on the collection of short stories, The Thing
Around Your Neck, by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for the 11 International
Baccalaureate/Higher Level classes.
● Planned and implemented a two and a half week long unit on the novel, The Marrow Thieves,
by Cherie Dimaline for the 9 Accelerated classes.
● Developed specific grammar units/presentations for both the 11 HL and 9 Accel. Classes,
both lasting over a week.
● Taught students from many different cultural backgrounds, such as Asain, African
American, and Muslim.
● Provided consistent classroom management with the Coordinating Teacher.
● Collaborated with Coordinating Teacher, PLC members, Assistant Principal, and counselors
to make the instruction and learning student centered.

● Four days a week, working with my two younger brothers, 5 and 6 years of age, with online
schooling while our parents were at work.
● Each day, we would log on to the 5 year old’s Kindergarten Seesaw class, and we would
watch the assigned videos or complete the homework assignments for the day.
● Each day, we would log on to the 7 year old’s Pre-School Seesaw class, and we would watch
the assigned videos or complete the homework assignments for the day.
