About #S4S
The growing rate of poverty and unemployment in Nigeria has led to several fights
for survival by their victims, especially the indigent students in public schools in the
case of the target students for this project that can not afford basic kits for daily
learning. Research has proven that minor discomforts like not having sandals to
shield their legs can cause real pains, distraction and psychological distress to
these very young students.

This project in all fairness seeks to support various actions by different

stakeholders towards improving the quality of education in Yenagoa, Nigeria.
We believe that quality education is key to building a world-class state filled with
endless possibilities. Addressing accessorial educational needs of indigent students
like shoes, stationaries, and school facilities in order to improve school enrolment
and completion rates, and more generally, to drive Nigeria towards SDG 4's targets
can be instrumental to translating the educational vision of this state into reality.

#S4S targets to help 1000 disadvantaged students in public primary and junior
secondary schools with sandals and other learning materials. This is an opportunity
to help a child get through school.
