3.

1 Scope:

 The Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Curriculum and Instruction


(SAFE CI) is a DepEd rewards and recognition program initiated by
the department to encourage innovativeness, integrity, creativity and
productivity in public service and to give an adhesive impact to
learning with the accomplishment made and achieved under this
category. The accomplishments with all the programs, projects, and
activities showcased to the best learning-focused and innovative
system done by Mambajao Central School in collaboration with
different organizations in the community whose best practices
anchored in the School-Based Management guidelines in order to
improve learning and academic achievements of the school that could
provide frameworks and structures in designing effective teaching-
learning endeavors among children. With this, Mambajao Central
School adheres DepEd thrust of carrying a quality, relevant,
accessible, and affordable education for all.

3.2 Replicability of the program/project/activity

 Program replication is an important aspect in demonstrating program


effectiveness and understanding what works best, under what
conditions and for what target population. This is something that
makes program effective, measurable with achievable and positive
result. Among the programs, project, and activity of the School are:
o Modular Learning or Alternative Delivery Mode of which
parents act as teachers of their children doing supervision in
teaching-learning process through modular approach.
o Online Learning through the use of technology wherein
teachers use laptop, cellphone, or other means of gadgets to get
in touch with the pupils in delivering lessons by group chat or
virtual class.
o Gulayan Sa Tahanan is a multi-beneficial program carried out
by the school to the homes in this new normal setting and a
way for children to cope with boredom. Mambajao Central
School encouraged every family to do gardening at home as a
relaxing recreational activity that can provide great personal
rewards among learners and a positive family-inclusive project
to adapt.
o Technology-Based Activities – Mambajao Central School is
motivating teachers to enhance computer literacy and undergo
numerous internet and computer-based activities for them to
improve their knowledge and skills in terms of technology.
Having this kind of activity enable teachers to impart the
lesson to the children effectively where children have access of
information, communication, and technology.

3.3 Number of people, office benefited, and transactions facilitated

 The school has been nurturing 1,613 pupils for the year 2019 with
93% stakeholders’ participation. It established linkages from different
individual in the community and to various organizations. With all the
programs, activities and projects implemented by the school, it had
facilitated a number of transactions like SEF or Special Education
Fund that provide assistance in the operation and maintenance of
public schools and other purpose, MOOE whose purpose is intended
for regular operation of the school. It also facilitated projects through
GPTA and ALUMNI. So far a number of offices were benefited within
the school, like the Office of the Principal, Office of the District
Supervisor, Division Offices, LGU’s, and National Offices through
exchanging harmonious working relationships with regards to
programs activities and projects implemented. Moreover, the school
also facilitated transactions like Internet Connectivity/Wi-Fi Program,
Feeding, Health and Sports Program.

3.4 Level of Attainment per Identified Performance Indicator (School Level)

- This is a concrete actions the learners done as a result of participation in


the program, activity or project.

1. Enrolment – Increase number of pupils enrolled from 1603 to 1613

2. LARDO’s – Decrease number of learners at-risk of dropping out from 67 pupils


to 0.
3. NAT – The school garnered an increase of NAT MPS from 37.51% to 50%.

4. ELLNA – MPS increase from 60.68% to 65%.

5. Basic Literacy – Has decline number of pupils with frustrations level in reading
from 117 to 0 in Filipino and 76 to 0 in English.

6. Nutritional Status – Increase Nutritional Status from 91.18% to 97% among


learners.

7. Sports – Increase number of gold medals from 11 to 12 in Provincial Meet.

8. Journalism – The school is a national awardee of this yearly competition.n

9. MTAP, YES-O – Under this competition, the school is a division and regional
awardee.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The COVID-19 pandemic has created the largest disruption of the


education system in history, affecting millions of learners throughout the country.
The crisis is exacerbating opportunities for learners to continue their learning.

Yet, Mambajao Central School strongly upholds its commitment to deliver


quality, accessible, relevant and affordable education for all amid the pandemic
crisis. Situated in the heart of the town, the school envisions to develop holistically
its learners for them to become responsible, disciplined, and productive citizens of
the community. As a leading school in the Division of Camiguin and home of
national champion in the different areas of competition the school reaffirms to
strengthen its vision and mission despite the drastic disruption brought about by
COVID-19 pandemic.

Further, the school is moving forward to commit innovations, improving


standards, and implementing effective strategies through collaborative commitment
with our stakeholders to build resilient education system for equitable and
sustainable development.
