IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

ELE 7L Numerical Methods, Laboratory

Read carefully: As per TUP-ORDER-NO.-15-S.-2020-GRADES-FOR-THE-SECOND-

SEMESTER-SY-2019-2020, our class on ELE 7L will have the following guidelines below.

A. Start working on your project with the following details:

1. Create a program of your assigned Numerical Method using MATLAB (see the list
below).
2. Numerical methods listed were mostly discussed, perform self-study if the assigned
method was not discussed.
3. Submit your project with the .exe file, source code, documentation (instruction
manual) and video presentation.
4. The documentation (instruction manual) will be composed of the following:
a. Introduction (Background of the Assigned Numerical Methods and the Software
Used to Generate the Program)
b. Scope and Limitations of the Program
c. Instructions on How to Use the Program per Numerical Method
d. Problems Encountered and Solutions
e. Appendices (optional)
5. The video presentation’s contents and requirements are:
a. Demonstration on how the program works
b. Show examples per Numerical Method assigned
c. Must be minimum of 5 minutes and maximum of 10 minutes
d. You may use any video recording software as long as you are seen on the whole
video.
6. Submit your project to engrglennvirrey@gmail.com

B. Choose two (2) exercises from your manual to finish with the following details:
1. Work by pair. Not individual, work by pair. Again, work by pair. Just delegate.
2. Fill-up the blanks in the Lab Manual. Take a photo/scan the pages of the chosen
exercises.
3. Write/type your reports on a separate document/sheet of paper if needed. No title
page needed.
Note: Conclusion answers the Objective/s of the exercises.
4. Screen shot your Octave/MATLAB syntax and command window results. Compress
on a zip folder prior sending to engrglennvirrey@gmail.com

Don’t hesitate to message for any concerns.

Stay safe and be healthy always.
Thank you and God bless.
