PAYMET OF DIFFERENCE OF GRATUITY DUE FOR ENHANCEMENT OF DA

1. Reference CPGRAM REGD DOPPW/E/2022/12178 dated 11 Apr 2022.

2. In this context your office vide letter No.G-I/CIV\SPARSH/CPGRAM/09/2022 dated Apr 22

and 01 Jun 20229 (copy attd) have been intimated that the case is under examination for payment
of arrear of gratuity due for enhancement of DA through SPARSH PORTAL and will be released with
monthly pension. But it is regratably to inform to your good office that different amount arrears of
gratuity due to increase of DA from 17 % to 24% wef 01 July 2020 has not been credited with
monthly pension wef Apr 2022 onwards till date as per your above quoted letter and only normal
monthly pension amount has been credited.

3. Sir, My retirement time ie 01 Jan 2021 (FN) DA only 17% was granted further DA has been
ceased till further order from G of I. But the same was revoked Govt of India vide letter No.
1 (5)/EV/2020 dated 07 Sep 2021 and considered the case, that employees, who retired on or after
01 Jan 2021 and upto 30 Jun 2021 the amount of DA to be taken in to account for calculation of
Gratuity etc. Therefore, I am eligible to DA 24% wef July 2020 instead of DA 17%.

4. In view of the above, you are once again requested to take an immediate action to release of
my legitimate dues Ie different amount of gratuity in accordance with above Govt Orders and crdite
my bank account through SPARSH.

5. Sir it is also submitted that the same has already delayed more than 10 month and above.
