Title of Event: GNDLSNHS 1ST VIRTUAL GRADUATION


Theme: Strengthening the quality of education amid COVID -19 Pandemic

II. Objectives
To celebrate students who have successfully met the academic extra- curricular
requirements for graduation for School Year 2020-2021.

III. Highlights

Graduation is a milestone for every student. Committed to protect the health and
welfare of learners, teachers, personnel, and parents, the Department of Education (DepEd)
is not allowing any face – to- face graduation and moving up rites for School year 2020 -
2021 scheduled within the week of July 12to16, 2021. Schools and community learning
centers are instead encouraged to prepare s short virtual program that will run in less than
two hours to consider the amount of mobile data that will be consumed and the internet
connectivity of involved learners.
For 30 years of providing quality education, Gov. Nonito D. Llanos Sr. National High
School is continuously soaring to a greater height. As GNDLSNHS celebrated this year’s
virtual graduation exercises, the school is determined in producing competitive and quality

graduates amidst COVID – 19 pandemics. As candidates for graduation soar higher, the
school aims to highlight the new face of quality education with K-12 as its backbone.
The virtually formally begins with showing the spirit of patriotism as they isten to the
Philippine national anthem, followed by the opening prayer, provincial hymn, and
municipal hymn.
Afterwards, Mrs Bernadeth Custodio do the opening remarks followed by the
presentation of graduates. There are 90 graduates, 39 Male and 51 females. And followed
right away by the acceptance, confirmation of the graduates and message by our Schools Division
Superintendent, Mr. Nelson C. Lopez, CESO V.
Further, Aina Claire Alpos, a with honors student, gave her inspirational message
that depicts their journey through thick and thin, they have endured and conquered
challenges, won victories, and celebrated joys together.
Finally, Mrs. Agustina Tamala, A Senior High School Academic coordinator gave her
closing remarks encouraging students to aim high, to do their best, and to find ways to
pursue their studies despite this pandemic.
Although, COVID-19 has changed many lives, important moments and opportunities.
C elebrations has suddenly shifted to the ‘new normal’, but it does not prevent us to praise
our students who have shown invaluable effort and dedication to complete the year. Thus,
the GNDLSNHS virtual graduation was indeed a successful one.
